He should have been killed, it would have served him right. The guy broke the treaty between villages and Neji's father died because of his political hardheadedness, when a war between Kumo and Konoha was justified at that point. I blame Hiruzen just as much for being a terrible leader, yet again.

The Bijuu are not the political property of any village or country just because Hashirama chose to capture and barter them for money. If Sasuke chose to take it by force, then I don't really give a damn how many times this base whines, Hachibi never belonged to them in the first place. You know what they say, finders keepers, loser weepers. It was not even in their political right to claim ownership to it, and then talk about political espionage given his orders to kidnap Hinata and then brazenly demand for Neji's father's head. I am disappointed in Sasuke, as Raikage should have been killed for his repeated political corruption.

He should also sit his ass down, given his own egregious political debacles.

At the time that is what I really liked about the other kage. They were less talk and more action. It was a nice juxtaposition to the leniency of the hokages, who were always so powerful but also so nice.

It was good to see the other kage be cutt-throat regarding missing nins.

Sasuke was never guilty for that. Danzo worked with a "terrorist" named Hanzo and was war criminal responsible for a genocide and the creation of another terrorist organization that started WW4. Sasuke had the right to take revenge on that scum. Also, the Kages didn't trust Danzo and knew of his intentions so they were in the wrong to not negotiate with Sasuke. How do you think cartel lords and dictators are taken down.. definitely not behind a jury :|

Hanzo was the village head of land of rain. Where as akatsuki was a vigilante group. He joined Hanzo to dispose of them. What r u saying.

Yeah people tend to forget the plan was to infiltrate the summit, have white zetsu identify Danzo, and then wait intill the meeting ends and assassinate Danzo on his way home. Here's what went down:

Obito tells Sasuke he goofed when it came to the Killer B situation and that he owes the akatsuki.

Sasuke says not my problem.

Obito tells sasuke if he doesn't go after the kages to make up for it then it's war between him at taka.

Sasuke agree's but is really only planing to go after Danzo.

Obito predicts Sasuke isn't going to uphold his agreement and is only going after Danzo.

Obito tells white zetsu to warn the kages so that they go after sasuke and he no longer has a choice but to fight all of them like obito wanted.

By how he's portrayed I doubt he used his power legitimately and he definitely was a war criminal. He went to war with Akatsuki despite the organization being a peaceful movement at the time, and his reason for seeing them as a threat was "non-democratic", Nagato was willing to have peace talks. Him and Danzo are responsible for what the organization ended up becoming, they fell into Madara's plans like puppets. :|

I wish I could rep you again - Konoha is directly responsible for what happened to Akatsuki. It deserved to be rent asunder for its repeated political meddling. Nagato did nothing wrong. Konoha's destruction was long overdue.

While it's true that he was being strong armed into working for the akatsuki it doesn't change the situation. They were without a doubt justified in attacking someone that's not supposed to be there. It would be the equivalent of me breaking into your house.
