[Racism] Why do people always say...

Why do people always say, "I'm not racist because I have..."
Then proceed to say they have a mexican/black/asian/white best friend; or something along those lines. That makes no sense. Racism isn't only a group thing. As insane as it sounds, even if you are a white guy and your best friend is black guy, that does not mean you are not racist towards black people. Now obviously it lessens the chance of it, because it shows you have at least a basic amount of tolerance towards people of different races. However it does not mean you don't show prejudice or discrimination towards other black people. This example can be used in any manor and is not locked to whites and blacks.

All I want is for everyone to show at least a shard of tolerance. Open your minds to the bigger picture. We are one race; the Human race. Can we act like civilized beings?

Well people can be racist to other races not just blacks and in your case there saying there not races because they have other race friends it doesn't always have to strictly do with black and white. ​

But he doesn't realize that they're not cool with it, they just don't want to start the next homicide(JK, but you know what I mean), and even if they did people would be like "As expected from a black person" sigh this world is ****ed
