People manga clearly states Kankuro has surpassed Sasori.... He was already made a fool by Sasori the first time they went against each other during the first arc of Shippuden. Kankuro trained himself.. hell hes even a commander worthy now.

theres no point to saying youve surpassed someone just because your beating a severely weakened version of them. kankuro is fallible and flawed. he never met sasori at the height of his strength. the only person alive who has is sakura

so because kabuto said hes invincible , that means he is? kabuto said he is stronger than uchiha bros and was gonna go defeat them. by your logic, he is. sasori cant exactly prove him wrong when hes lost his entire puppet arsenal due to being resurrected. sasoris the better puppeteer because of 100 puppets, killing third kazekage, iron sand, making human puppets and being member of akatsuki stronger than deidara (deidaras in a better position to judge sasori than kankuro considering he was his partner for years)

that is true actually. itachi by hashiramas definition of shinobi is better than him. he was a ruthless murderer and torturer and served his government like a dog without any will of his own. a tool in other words. hashirama couldnt become a tool

because he believed he was one with the undying body. sasori wanted to become a true puppet but kankuro convinced him otherwise that the puppets themsleves are the legacy he has. kankuro cant be on sasoris level. not even chiyo was. as chiyo said only sasori can make human puppets or turn himself completely into a puppet or use 100 puppets

once sasori disabled chiyos puppets, sakura came in and fought in their place. sakuras antidote/strength and element of surprise took down the third. then it became puppet vs puppet again

We don't know how that fight went or anything about it at all.. Considering Sasori used the strategy of clogging chiyo's puppets with iron sand, its possible it happened to him in the fight.. lets not forget sasori is also a very capable ninja himself, who also had himself as a puppet...


And you think kankuru made a leap from utter fodderness, to mid tier akatsuki level in some months? due to what? his own self praise and self hype? Baseless self hype when he doesn't even know what sasori is capable of? doesn't know about his 298 puppets, doesn't know anything about him really..


As for the last part, completely disagree, even the databook states Sasori is the best puppeteer to have ever existed.. meaning the db put him above even the legendary Monzaemon Chikamatsu himself...

No I think he improved from mid jounin level from beginning of Shippuden to high jounin level by the time of the War Arc. In no way am I claiming Kankuro to be mid tier Akatsuki but I do believe he can beat Hidan. @bold, I don't know who that is but the data books are old. Times are changing and maybe the 4th data book will say more. What do you mean by utter fodderness? Kankuro was never a fodder even in part 1. Manga portrayal puts him on a high tier compared to most other ninjas in his village and compared to most K11 ninjas.
