If you read what i posted you would see that i NEVER mentioned a ps4 being more powerful than a pc..

I only said that they made this edition of tomb raider better than the pc version that's why the new edition looks better.. and you can see it.

It's medium settings because it's a comparison of the features that are enabled on the PS4 in comparison to the Pc version.

Also I've played the PS4, would I buy one? No. I play it smart and try the demo's at gamestop/walmart when it first came out. Then played it at a relatives house.

The gif I posted isn't bullshit. But you can believe it is if it makes you feel better. I posted real screen shots of it on ultra with the settings that are beyond ultra turned up all the way. In fact, my screen shots look different from IGN's "Ultra" settings, so what does that say? It wasn't on Ultra

There are few engines that are made to run on consoles but you are correct. However things have changed very much this generation for developing games.

And i said that i MUCH prefer the pc shot in that picture of yours. the aliasing is way lower, their is higher contrast, the girl looks less like a cartoon, and thats why i love pc

My opinion: PS4 uses too much bloom/HDR. Look at her face. Also, once again, what's with her eyes? I swear to god it's like her eyes are constantly trying to escape her head.

Everybody knows that Making Lara Croft's eyes bigger, and slightly increasing the colour saturation of her skin, makes the definitive edition far superior to the PC version. =D

But seriously - This game looks insanely good on PC. I'm more of a console gamer (I do own a Gaming PC), and even I will admit that PC destroys the competition when it comes to graphics quality on 99% of games. & this is one of those games within the 99%.
It's pointless to even argue it...

Such epitome of fail, no it isn't, first of all, in the second pic, you can see that the clouds look much more vivid and better textured, and in the first and last pic, the face and hair are relatively smoothed, compared to consoles, the PC provides better textures, enhanced lightning and visual effects, better draw distance, and better shader models compared to the ps4, after all, everything improvised is custom built, while in the ps4 it's certainly stacked and limited. With how much bloom, tinting, lightning, is all determined and set, which you can't change. You can't push it's performance. While in the PC it's the users choice. Now you obviously can't compared 1.84 tflps and 1154 shaders with a PC. With the latest GPU models, which are upto 5 tflps. They provide overall better performance and graphic capabilities. Pushing the overall graphical capabilities to its core.

Now the the work station and r9 AMD series, provide API support of direct X 11.2, with 4k resolution support, with 4.0/5 tflps single precision, and 1 double precision. And eyefinity graphic tech. Now there's more to it then that obviously.

you can see the ground being way better textured and smoothed compared to the ps4. The shadows ares smooth, along without pixel disorientation along the edges , and the colours are more sterling.

See how it is? While the game certainly is optimised for both gens, the graphics are more vibrant on the PC, the lighting effects and so on. No one is complaining, but certainly the PC edges it out. No this might not always be the case, sometimes the graphics may appear better due to saturation and contrast in some cases. Which is commonly mistaken.

This is old and proven, and has been going on for years.

PS4 might be good but PC is much better since there isn't a limit on how many games you can play in it or you can use it for lots of purposes which PS4 can't even do at all.. PC remains the best form of console/working thing than any other only gaming console...
