No as i already said itachi hit Nagato with it without preta path activated from behind i might add and Nagato wasn't in control of his body.

This manga does not follow your rules all ninjutsu can be absorbed by preta path its that simple. Your effectively burying your head in the sand screaming i can't hear and its sad you resort to such methods when confronted with something you don't want to accept.
