There is a difference though. Hiruzen was a kage but his hype wasn't related to his actual actions or what he was able to accomplish, they're all just about his non-specific strength in his prime.

Hanzo's is how he actually went out and did things. And we've had proof that he managed to destroy a Sannin troop, be too much for Chiyo and Mifune and the fact that his power led his country against war against the great nations. You think a village like the Rain could fight the Leaf in war without someone like Hanzo leading them? We don't know how much damage Hiruzen's thousands of jutsu could do but we do know how much Hanzo's poison could.

It's hype, but it's not baseless hype like Hiruzen that we've only heard about and can be used in debates to an extent.

The only impressive feat Hanzo had ever shown was beating the Sanin before they were at their strongest.
-Jiraiya lacked Sage Mode and Rasengan
-Tsunade didn't have Yin Seal
-Orochimaru lacked regeneration and Edo Tensei plus he commented that he was weaker than Early part 2 Sasuke when he around his age, meaning Jiraiya and Tsunade were at around the same level.
On top of that, we don't know what other abilities they had at the time or if their summons were used at all. The most we can assume is that they were basically around the same level as team Yamato during early part 2, which any low kage level shinobi could probably solo. Jiraiya was shocked that anyone alive could beat Hanzo but keep in mind this: Minato, Hiruzen, and Orochimaru were all dead and he doesn't personally know any of the other kage or akatsuki's powers.
Plus not to mention, Chiyo spoke of hanzo like she evwenly fought him several times and showed no fear or reverence talking to or about him, meaning they were around equal power. Judging from all factors, Hanzo could only be considered low-mid kage by analyzing his hype.

Lol, you are taking everything too seriously. I made a short sentence, you answered with an introduction, body paragraph, and conclusion. I was joking, however, what I was not joking about was the previous argument we had. You cannot give me an actual reason to how Hanzo could defeat anyone on the list I made, unless of course they were standing 'nose to nose' next to each other. And I can tell the difference between baseless hype and regular hype, I am simply saint regular or baseless, it cannot be used in an argument.
