If you've been watching the trees, they seem immortal and also help sustain life on earth.

Here is the big thing I want to discuss : Do you think tree + human experimentation = immortality?

Let's say you implant special cells from a tree through surgery or injection, and you gain the lifespan of a tree.

Discuss.

This sound so stupid, but in naruto manga its plausible.

I mean in real life. Since humans grow very fast technology-wise. And we're evolving a lot faster than our ancestors which are apes.

Why don't you take a break from Naruto for a while.

Yes trees can be killed, but I'm talking about if they were not cut down. If a human had the life-span of a tree, they'd live longer than continents.

extending human life span should be possible but by other means as i doubt anyone would try and inject tree juice into themselves

This doesnt make sense considering that the genetic make up of trees does not match ours and would only reject it, possibly causing death.

DNA splicing should allow it to merge with your DNA

We are all immortal. We are made up of the very stars and worlds which exist all over the universe.

When we die we are just passing back to that which we came from, we are an extraordinary manifestation of the energy of everything.

No. They wouldn't.
Oldest tree that doesn't clone itself is 5000. It takes hundreds of thousands of years for continents to change.

No it wouldn't because the end result would be basic proteins and acids and would defeat the purpose of forcibly fusing us with trees. Again that would only result in a failed experiment.
