My strategy revolves around the move trick room. it makes slower pokemon move first for 5 turns and normally flips most peoples strategies on their heads. My rampardos is an absolute monster. ive also got a machamp, ursaring, swampert, cofigrigus, and my shiny camerupt in rotation
First off I see that you have slow pokemon sorely for trick room which is good but be wary of speed priority moves such as Mach Punch or the ability Prankster
Cresselia: Psychic is the perfect stab move and protect and toxic is a classic combo, not to mention her defenses are top notch so this is a good tank
Glaceon: Might I suggest mirror coat instead of hidden power? Hidden Power is weak and while it can offer a surprise, what if someone sends out a fire type with great speed? I guarantee that hidden power won't OHK them (maybe Charizard). If someone uses fire blast (with a STAB against Glaceon, thats 360 damage), if it's special defense is good enough, that's a guarantee OHK with mirror coat. While Blizzard is not a bad option because of it's raw power and targets two pokemon in a double battle, it's accuracy isn't worth it. Just think about being down to the wire and you need to take down some HP or your opponent. I think Ice Beam would be a better choice. Too bad Glaceon move pool isn't so good =/
Rampardos: Not one of my personal fans, but besides legendaries and Slaking, it has the best Attack in the game but poor defenses, it's speed isn't that bad either. I see that you have two flinching moves, might I suggest Rock Polish instead or Rock Smash? Yes in contradicts trick room but in a one on one battle it will give you the upper hand. Other than that, with a STAB, Rock Slide is about 100+ damage so good option
Cacturn: Good attack and special attack. Combined with trick room, Needle Arm could produce a flinch and with King's Rock it highers the chances of that happening. Sucker Punch is a great move all around plus its a STAB as well as a priority move. Spikes seems useless ever since toxic spikes came out lol. Well I never favored Cacturne either but I know it's move pool isn't good either. Honestly can put my input on this one lol
Eelktross: This thing is so ugly lol. Has not weakness unless you use Gastro Acid, Gravity or Mold Breaker (I think) Don't see nothing wrong with yours
Bronzong: One of my fav tank battlers. Keep in mind if trick room is active, Gyro ball will be useless because its dependent on how bad the users speed stat is. Explosion affects all pokemon in a double battle and could massively damage your pokemon. But could work in your favor if used right. I think reflect/light screen should depend on your other pokemon's defenses.
Who here on the NB likes pokemon and still whatches it. I for one do, even though i dislike Ash with STRONG passion.
If you do like pokemon, do you have any recent pokemon games (ex:White/Black), and want or have Pokemon Black/White 2. Because i know i do
No lie I love Pokemon for DS it's epic Dnt give a **** what anybody says
But fav one is soul silver they brong everything back and it was 2 games in 1 the best thing about it was u get to walk with ur Pokemon
And I wish it was 3d and looked how skyrim is and is for ps3 I would love tht Pokemon game to death
< true pokemon fan that knows almost everything u can know :scorps: i am one of the very few on this site i bet that even understands the use of pkrs and effort values and everything else :scorps:
Lol.. The amount of poser's here bashing on BW it's ridiculous. Here you are complaining, cursing and talking crap about something you don't even know, Yet when someone admits the epic failure you are you still struggling like a worm trying to defend yourself with comments that obviously reflect yourself and using "grammar” as an excuse, Making yourselves look like the total fools you are. Ya'll kids should stop trying to be trolls, Go away, And be ashamed of your pathetic existence, Your incredibly flawed point of view, And arguing with my kind.
I'm sorry, but you obviously don't realize that there is more to Pokémon than just capturing a Jigglypuff and being all cutesy. There is a lot of hidden mechanics that make the game a lot more complicated than what people realize, so don't try to pretend that it is a game only for children, when obviously it is not.
While I agree that pokemon anime is childish and simply boring, there is a lot more to Pokemon than just that.
1. Manga (Pokemon Special) is aimed for older audiences and is hell interesting.
2. Games' mechanics are deeper than in WoW, to be honest. And once you learn them, it's a difficult task to be able to use them properly. That's why there are so many competitions held in Pokemon and it's not simply "level up, spam one attack, win".
Such a statement as yours is characteristic for people who have never had any contact with any Pokemon game. U_U

Thanks for the detailed input I really appreciated it. I probably should have added that I tend to stick to double battles
Let me just add that trick room DOES NOT effect gyro ball it actually doesnt effect the speed stat at all, it just makes the pokemon with the lower speed go first. So bronzong is still a wrecking ball
Ive got the cacturne with the hidden water absorb ability, it always surprises people trying to use surf but I didnt think cacturne learned toxic spikes. I was thinking about replacing him with a stealth rock/leach seed ferrothorn, but I havent found the time to breed one.
Man, do I love my Rampardos, But rock polish on a trick room team just doesnt work, and I know you said already that. I wish I would have bread one to have learned hammer arm to be honest with you :/
I'm really considering mirror coat for my glaceon, thanks for that one
about bronzong... honestly I wouldnt mind replacing explosion at all. im still thinking about which move though. And I cant just leave him with the 5pp gyroball :/
Yeah eelektross is a mean mf, and trick room makes him competitive with the best of em'
Thanks for your critique!!! I really appreciate it.
Now that hidden abilities have been mentioned...
I don't like them. :|
I don't like the idea of going online and playing Pokemon on my computer instead of DS just to find (or not) a Pokemon that's not available on the DS.
I mean, I've bought a DS game, not a half-DS, half-PC one. And sure, one can say that nobody forces me to use DreamWorld, but then I'm behind folks who use it when it comes to competitive battling.
IMO DreamWorld should have never been implemented.
