You also need to be a live host in order for you to be a JInchuuriki, yet minato is dead especially when he sealed half the kyuubi's chakra and his inside the death god reaper's belly instead of his actual body.

In short, Minato was never a jinchuuriki. He used the power of the shiki torii seal to access that power.
