It's an established mangafact that Kurama had three host. Mito Uzumaki, Kushina Uzumaki and Naruto Uzumaki. How is that possible when Minato Namikaze was also host to Kurama?

People may argue he only had half sealed within but if thats the case, Naruto couldn't be catagorized as a jinchuriki until the last. We all know that isn't the case.

Just a plothole I noticed, makes you wonder who else could've been a jinchuriki. Like Asura ​

Where in the manga was this said...who said it? any scans? depending on the answer, it might not be a plothole.

This thread is mostly splitting hairs. Minato was never an established host, he simply sealed the beast and died as opposed to being chosen to be its jin. He was also never alive when hosting the Beast.

The whole Minato beast mode, and even the Minato SM, was all created to make him viable in the war. Neither of those powerups were ever part of Minato's repertoire until that time.

This is under the assumption that sealing a mass of sentient chakra creates the same effect as sealing a human soul.

No see that's where you're wrong. I'm assuming it works the same way across the board as explained in the manga originally, you're assuming it works differently then expressed in the manga to fit your view. I'm stating an objective fact that Kishis two depictions of RDS use don't match up, you're creating a reason why that's so.

Kishi ****ed up with his RDS in the end. If Minato used RDS on Kurama and sealed Kurama within himself before he was sealed within RDS then that would mean Hashirama and Tobirama were sealed within Hiruzen before he was sealed in RDS. It's inconsistent. Chances are Kishis said that a long time ago and forgot come war time when he needed Minato to live up to hype.

After all, Mito, Kushina and Naruto all spent more than like, 2 minutes with the beast.
It's not a plot hole, it's just really specific cherry-picking

Technically Obito was a jinchuuriki too, he held an entire half of Kurama before doing the transfer for Naruto.

Well minato died right after and that might affect how people look at it, also he had fox in him for like less than 5 minutes at the end of a battle, whilst naruto carried it prolonged time, if minato survived and kept half of kurama in him he might be called jinn
