I thought of this too but then it wouldn't be quite fun then...the medal thats stated above is good enough for this contest since we dony know how it will end...and if it goes well, we can have another cool medal for this...If we have the one from aotw then not many will be interested to achieve this...

Exactly. If the contest keeps active for like 3 months or so, I'll comission a specific one from the designers ^^

I visited the submission thread (that sounds dirty) and noticed that only 2 of the contestants have submitted pics that have the desired by the contest's description theme.
I think you should make it clearer because I see beaches and fields (which is cool) but that's not the theme lol.

Also, this theme is quite difficult imo. I mean you can't really make a nice picture without the use of a model unless you are very creative ( remains to be seen) since you have to include a phone or a laptop or a gadget generally and even highlight it since that's the objective.
That said I think there are some ways to both complete the task and make it an appealing picture and I am waiting to see if any of the contestants will manage to do that.

p.s. : If the contest is a success, which I think will be the case, and you make nice, broad, yet realizable by anyone themes it's gonna be a very nice contest.

btw guys, don't forget the picture needs to have NB in it somewhere otherwise it cannot be used for the contest. You are also free to edit if with photoshop or gimp or similar tools if you want.

Also, I'm thinking of keeping this basic theme for the contest. Basically, any picture with NB in them that you create yourself by ging out of the house (or inside it) and taking a picture with "NB". I have even considered that we could have a mascot and the pictures would be with it. But thats just a rough idea.

But people also can search a picture on the internet, and then they'll edit it with photoshop or something, and they write "narutobase" somewhere

I think he means that the "sign" has to be handmade but after that, you are free to manipulate the photo as much as you want.
Now if you are talking about finding a pic, and then photoshopping a handmade "sign" in it, then I fold. Actually there is nothing that can be done about this. Except maybe double check any "suspicious" images with google.

I think that is the case, the handmade NB thingy will count as an originality sign. Otherwise it would be hard to judge the original photos and compete in equal terms.

I noticed that too. Since only 3 submissions will make it to the voting poll, I am sure the judges will disqualify such entries.

Could we postprocess our pictures or would you rather have an unretouched photo for the contest.

Its irrelevant how much post processing you may add. The moment and the "truth" of the picture is what we are after. It doesn't hurt to make it better but don't go over the top.

Also people, I've noticed that some of you have applied for the contest but haven't actually finished your submission. I'm going on a vacation from the 13th to the 28th. So the submissions will close on the 13th or 14th (a day early, sorry) and the voting will take place for 10 days.
