(Doton/Raiton: Denki Iwabashira) - Earth/Lightning Release: Electric Rock Pillar

Now this is something new. I actually think this would be a good one to use as an alternative to the overly used D-Rank (or is it C-Rank) rock pillar technique. Given the lightning, this can actually work quite well allowing me to mix this with a small water technique though I would need to be careful how to go about it.

While channeling my chakra towards my right hand, I make a set of four hand seals and then will place my hand on the ground, creating an earthen pillar to rise up from the ground. I then give the pillar an electrical charge that causes electric bolts to be emitted from it and up to short range from it, shocking any targets in the vicinity.

Instance: I would definitely use this against enemies despite there being much cost-effective techniques. If the enemy is able to dodge the pillar pushing him into the air he would still have to contend with the lightning which, if used with a couple jutsu, could keep your opponent on the defensive allowing you to pressure him. Works well too against multiple targets but they have to all be in range otherwise its useless.

(Doton: Ukiwagan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Floating Ring Rock Technique

I seen this in NUNS before many times. I believe Ohnoki is the one that uses it frequently. I really love that they can be hurled up to long range. Unless I am wrong?

I focus my chakra, channel it into the earth, and create two large floating rock cubes that are two meters squared. I motion the cubes to rotate around me to defend me from incoming attacks but seeing as there is no threat I then go on the offensive. Through using the momentum created by the rotating rocks, I fling them at a nearby target with incredible speed. They're not as powerful as I can make them but they do the job of causing a distraction to the enemy.

Instance: What I like about this technique is its versatility. It can cover any range and with two rocks you can launch from two angles. You can right? Can you control them like that - make them attack from one angle here and one angle there? Regardless, you can use it offensively and defensively which is great for unpredictable opponents. I wonder though can you use it as a supplementary technique and use them as stone steps? Would be great for escapes or getting to something.

(Doton: Tetsu Keimusho no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Iron Prison Technique

Hee hee. I think this was used in Naruto's chuunin exam with Konohamaru. Or was this the one from his engagement with someone Pervy had made a promise to?

After I channel my chakra towards my right hand, I perform the Ram → Dog → Rat hand seals. I then place my hand on the ground. This causes a circular arena to appear and surround a wooden dummy I had made beforehand, spanning several meters around it (15 to be exact) and being four meters high. The floor, the walls and the ceiling are all reinforced with my chakra. I need to be careful though because if the prison receives any damage above C-Rank, it'll disappear in a puff of smoke. Talk about pressure. o__o'

Instance: This one is quite handy when dealing with certain opponents who like to escape but also to ensure no one interferes with you. I can see myself using it in the NW here and there. I am curious about the "chakra reinforced floor". Do you create a floor like a concrete one like the walls or what does it actually provide? Does it make it so your opponent can't use the earth or escape below? Oh yeah, I would definitely like to use this against summons. It helps limit their mobility although it works both ways.
as for the first technique i have used (Doton/Raiton: Denki Iwabashira) - Earth/Lightning Release: Electric Rock Pillar once in a battle and it was a good first move technique. it puts the opponent immediately on the defensive. the opponent would most likely use lightning to prevent the pillars to rise. and that is when you can follow up with a blast of wind techniques.

for the second technique, yes, you can fling the rocks up to long range. It's a good close combat/ranged combat combination if used creatively.

For the 3rd technique, I think it was used by Konohamaru, but im just guessing.

Perform these techniques and then we will move to A-rank

Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage poinnts: 40

The user will then unleash the three huge rocks coming from three different angles from infront of the enemy to smash into each other causing segements to start protruding from the collision and damaging the opponent.

(Shiikuretto Doton: Aasu Ikizukuri Nichougama) Secret Earth Release: Earth Slicing Sickles
Type: Offensive
Rank: B-rank
Range: Shot - Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description:
The user coats the blade of whatever weapon their using with chakra-infused earth, making it resemble an oversized broadsword at the end. The user then slashes towards a target, sharp splinters of earth resembling sickles fly off the blade and towards the target. The sickles are extremely sharp, capable of severing off limbs and piercing trees. If the attack is at close range, the damage from the sickles increase exponentially. Though sickles are the common practice, the user is able able to make the earth projectiles take the form of small kunai or shuriken. However, this is just a visual change and the damage will remain the same.

(Doton: Jimen Bunretsu no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Ground Splitting Technique

At first I thought this was another lame attempt at breaking up the ground but as I kept reading it came to me this one is a good technique to use and given its range, I'd say it'd be a great starting move.

I channel and focus my chakra from throughout my body as I perform the Rabbit → Boar → Rat → Horse → Tiger handsigns. I then slam my hands into the ground, causing the earth to erupt upwards, obscuring both our vision of each other.

Instance: Like I mentioned above, this is a great starting move. If I make it erupt upwards I can use the many bits flying up to obscure me and my opponents vision. If I split the ground below towards my opponent then I can force him to move back, in the air, or to his sides. This provides a good tactic that helps pin your opponent or pressure him to move somewhere specific. Either way it's a great technique. Oh and I like the ability to become trenches. This helps when you need some time and distance from your opponent.

(Doton: Ganseki Shuriken) - Earth Release: Rock Shuriken

This seems similar to the jutsu we covered before. The one where you form two cubes and then manipulate them around you. Same range and both offensive. Although this one is more one-time use compared to the other. Although this one seems to be less a setup that the previous one. Definitely seems worth using to pass a fast one on the enemy or use as a distraction.

After channeling my chakra and focusing on the earth aspect, I manipulate my chakra to lift a big quantity of debris and rock from the ground nearby. After making it rotate, I form it into a fast spinning disk of rotating rocks and debris then fling it at my target with enormous speed.

Instance: I can only think of one instance. Behind my enemy's back while I throw something at him. Other than that I can't think of something else. Sorry. >_<

(Doton: Shōnyūseki) - Earth Release: Stalactite

Another Ohnoki move from the game. I assume he pulls these rocks from the ground or uses ones already in the area within range. Seems redundant but I am starting to think Ohnoki is a very offensive fighter and much more with earth. But then again he is the Tsuchikage and something I should expect. xD

I begin by manipulating my chakra and create three huge rocks in front of a dummy Waki-sama prepared. I then unleash the three huge rocks, making them come from three different angles and will them to smash into each other one the opponent. This causes the segments to start protruding from the collision and damage my opponent further.

Instance: This definitely, like two jutsus ago, will be used by me once I can get my enemy distracted though that is easier said than done. Based on how it works it's a good technique to use at a distance rather than up close although in tight situations this could be a good one to use to get some distance or the time you need to put in a better move. Not real sure about this one. .-.

(Shiikuretto Doton: Aasu Ikizukuri Nichougama) - Secret Earth Release: Earth Slicing Sickles

This is one of those techniques that was recently donated by Nathan and added by our staff. Given Nathan's ingenuity, I am happy to be able to learn one of his techniques and much more that the rest of the rp can utilize and enjoy it. After reading it some more, it becomes a great jutsu to use for some kenjutsu fights or at least adds some variety.

Taking out my sword, I then coat the blade with chakra-infused earth, making it resemble an oversized broadsword at the end. I then jump into the air and then perform several slashes towards a dummy and then sharp splinters of earth resembling sickles fly off my blade and towards it (the dummy). The sickles are extremely sharp, capable of severing off the dummy's limbs and in some cases, able to pierce trees.

Instance: This one I see as a sneaky move don't you think? I can see myself trying to make my opponent think I will use an Iai strike but instead I don't move and use this. I think this would also work while airborne or while my opponent is airborne. I also appreciate it works at any range but like the author mentions, it's best to use at close range. I really like it.

I know that some of the techniques seem to be redundant, but dont worry we are almost done and with your creativity you can use it however you want.

now for the A-ranks. we almost there!

( Doton: Tajū Doryūheki ) - Earth Release: Multiple Mudwall Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: Like the parent technique, it creates a reinforced wall of earth to be used as a defensive mechanism. However, the technique works in a different manner. Using a pre-existing source of earth, it allows the user to create multiple walls of earth, further fortifying their defense instead of forming a single wall, by slamming his hands on the ground.

(Doton: Uitenpen) - Earth Style: Wheel Of Fortune
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Descripton: The user will bite his thumb and perform the Boar → Monkey → Bird → Monkey → Ram hand seals, slamming their hand into a scroll on the ground. This technique is a combination of the Summoning Technique and an Earth Release technique. The user summons a large amount of rock from a giant canyon which, during the process of being summoned through this technique, he shapes into a design he outlined previously in a scroll. This allows the user to change the topography of the map and create any earthen feature he needs from pillars to gorges, canyons, mountains or simply plains. If the user wants to or is defeated, the alteration ends as any summon eventually does. Additionally he can use (Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control at any point to change the design and alter the summoned terrain.
Note: can only be used once per battle

(Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description:This jutsu is used after Earth Style: Wheel of Fortune. The user will do the Boar → Monkey hand seals, slamming his hand on the ground and focusing his earth chakra. As he does this, he can change the design of the original technique. He can do this 3 times per battle.

the 3rd technique doesn't have a visual but the technique gives you a general idea that it is in relations to the second technique and basically you have to perform that technique before you perform this technique
