i have religius freinds who claim that anime is a sin to God. i dont think it is i mean how can somthing that promots things like freindship and other good things like that be a sin? what do you people think? is anime a sin against god to watch?

I don't think so. I know that my brother is super religious and will often point out the most minor detail about shows and say its related to satan. I showed him fights from cp9 arc of OP and he would not stop about how they have horns, and all black and idk, super religious people take it overboard sometimes

Man people have their opinions. An to answer your questions i think anime is something that a kid needs growing up. My life changed when i was in the six going to the seventh grade. I started watching naruto lol It was a time when Cartoon network had a marathon of it.. But all my life before that i didnt understand how to be nice. HOw to help people that are in need and people that are weaker. I used to be a so called WIgger (white guy acting black). But my character grew more and more as i watched anime. Theirs to many life lessons in anime that cant be passed up. As long as you stay true to yourself and help others with out expecting something in return. YOur karma will be good and life will go on smoothly.:headband:

Well people say its a sin because the christian god (the bible god, dont know about others) does not allow any other idol besides himself. In my opinion the act of watching anime is not a sin because Christ said that what you watch and listen is not a sin however what you speak out actually is. Example if you listen to atheist talking about the lack of evidence of a god that itself is not a sin. However if you start saying there is no god then that is a sin.

So you can in fact watch anime but not be idolizing certain characters. Lesson to be learned. . . . Do not be a d!ckriding fanboy
