I cant tell if youre actually upset or if youre just trolling. Do you really think that showing fodder death is sufficient for the audience to believe the magnitude of death and violence of the shinobi world?
If it's entirely for kid, then how u can explain uchiha masacare??? I do agree, it's needed for the plot but if it's only for kid, there were hundreds of way to show it.......Not in the way, we saw in the manga.
dude u're theone who's acting like u've never read a shounen before...in almost every shounen they always talk about nakamas, friendship, bonds, how painful it is to loose those bonds, but how many named characters die in those shounens, almost none....that the reason i emphasize in saying that this is a shounen, even if the theme is bonds, ninja world pain or whatever it's still doesnt change the fact that its a shounen, the writter isnt going to show those death using his main characters, never...
but what you seem to be missing is that we dont care if its a shounen manga. That doesnt really matter. Even though we know that no one is going to die, it doesnt make it any less lame. At the end of the day, the manga is missing a big opportunity. Just exclude the fact that it is shounen for one second and then tell me how you feel about the lack of reality in the war. Can you do that?
what do u mean by the uchiha massacre...are u trying to tell that the uchiha story is inaproppriate for kids? if u think so then u're wrong...the author is telling the uchiha story that is based on a massacre, is that bad for kids no...it's like when we were kids we had history coursed were we learned about great wars that happened in the past, massacres amoung countries and regions and all that....shounen technically means young boys, thus intended for kids...most of the adults who read shiunen is usually they started w/ the show a long time ago since mangas can take 10 to 15 years...i am 20 and started reading naruto since i was like 13 or 14...
Nooooooooo! who would feed akamaru. Bt seriously if someone from konoha rookies were to die (not saying that they will), but for plot purposes I'd say neji. This would make hinata grow up and shock the rest of them a bit. It would suck, but I also think there was a reason kishi didn't show neji thinking about naruto in the latest chapter, maybe he will get some spotlight against sasuke :shrug:.
i knew since the get go that almost everything happening in the manga is unrealistic, people not dying in the war is unrealistic just like people breathing fire, pushing massive shockwave, summoning toads, resurrecting and all that...i knew that since this sint reality but why am i watching and reading this again? it's because im looking for entertainment, however people these day have been obssessed w/ death, they forgot that entertnment is what they were looking for....if u forget about the term shounen then u can always say its lame, its unrealistic but there wouldnt also be the same kind of story, no cliche hero, not the same kind of entertainment and all...that why i keep remind people that its a shounen cuz unrealistic stuff happen a lot here
dude were did they show a genocide happen? did u see itachi kill every single member of the clan in brutal ways....do u even know why they censored a lot of contents....in fact the mere fact that there are censorship in these show is bc they are intended for kids...if u wanna talk about genocide, go watch a mature manga, for example vagabond, there u'll see genocide happening not just hear it like the uchiha massacre
But people still want some structure. You get strong and when you fight people die...I mean its just makes the story lacking. We get told that all these good people were KIA in previous wars and on missions but still no one from the generation that we are introduced into the story (sorry jiraiya and asuma were)? And even if someone good dies they come back to life (gaara, invasion on konoha)? Its not entertaining its ridiculous. Its recycling content instead of coming up with something new. It's just lacking substance. As many emotions and connections that are shown and stressed in the series, I dont think its plausible for the audience to just watch it or read it as pure entertainment. They care about it. You care about it, or else you wouldnt be posting on here and getting heated about it.
Really?? A genocide is a genocide. My point is it was described graphically in the manga and it was early in the manga. Don't u see how much strain it put on Sasuke?? Don't u think it might have happened to some kids. There is a much difference between telling killing happened and showing how killing was happened. That was surely a mistake in the manga to graphically described uchiha massacre if the manga were meant for only kids.
dude the uchiha massacre wasnt graphically shown, u're saying it like they showed itachi going on rampages and killing individuals, all they show was some people lying dead and itachi waiting for sasuke...they didnt evn show how itachi killed a single member of the clan...we were told about the massacre, we didnt witness it w/ our own eyes

I dnt really care who he kills I just wanna c bloodshed, an I would agree that the rookies cant die but after they kill asuma who had a child on the way, an jiraiya no one is safe. Idk if its true or not but I read in interviews that sasuke an nauto fight is towards the end of the series, so I dnt c why main characters cnt die in the end.
