I dnt really care who he kills I just wanna c bloodshed, an I would agree that the rookies cant die but after they kill asuma who had a child on the way, an jiraiya no one is safe. Idk if its true or not but I read in interviews that sasuke an nauto fight is towards the end of the series, so I dnt c why main characters cnt die in the end.

asuma and jiraiya died for plot purposes...they had to die so shikamaru and naruto would develop as characters but the rookies dying now wont help the plot in anything

It would show the audience and naruto the reality of war and give more tension and drive. But only if its someone very close to him like kakashi, sakura, or tsunade.

dude are u serious, after asuma died shikamaru had character developpment with all the king stuff and to protect it...and if asume hadnt died shikamaru wouldnt gotten stronger( he is a lazy dude)....it pretty obvious that asuma death was for team ino-shika-chou to develop mostly shikamaru

I've seen several animes without bloodshed and they were also about fightning and still they were good... you are saying it's pathetic because there's a war... and? I've seen animes full with demons and undeads and still no main character died...

even if a main character die in this war, then that won't be from the new generation. that's for sure.

i just gave some examples of the most popular anime out there but they dnt wanna listen....in dragon ball, even when character like krillin and yamcha became absolutly irrelevant, they still made it alive after the buu sage, in one piece, the war of the best, a war never seen before, but no named characters died except the ones that had to so the plot could continue, in bleach the FKT arc no one died even after aizen chopped, sliced,nuked them....it's like that in every shounen main characters are always gona make it no matter what unless it's for plot purpose...it's like an unwritten rule

The problem is that the manga is contradicting itself. Since the beginning of the series characters have stressed the burden of the ninja, that comrades die and that its is a painful existence. But in actuality we havent seen that. Even characters that do die have now been brought back life. It's all a lie contradicting itself and that is that problem.

This is supposed to be a war. The manga says 50,000 alliance members died in the first day yet its no one that we know. The manga is lying about itself and it is kind of lame. I dont want anybody we know to die, but if the manga were being true to itself, they would...

Just because people dont like this aspect of the series doesnt mean they hate the whole series. We've been reading/watching it for years and were allowed to dislike stuff about it. Theres no reason to get all heated and cursing. This is a forum where people come to talk about the series and their thoughts about it. If you dont care about peoples thoughts and arent willing to accept their praises and complaints then why are you on here?

You dont think people have had the same complaints about other series? I think any time that a series, manga, anime, live-action all of it says that people are supposed to die and die frequently, i expect people to die. Otherwise the series is just lying.
