Neither require direct contact, and both are capable of beating Neji. 3T Sharingan has shown better precognition feats as well. Byakugan can see all the way around, great. 3T Sharingan was capable of avoiding V1 Killer Bee, and V2 Raikage because of the predictable movements. Add it together and tell me what appears to be better in a direct fight?

Please show me a scan of sasuke using nagashi without being held...show me a scan of him using in a fast moving taijutsu fight...against Itachi he couldn't use it cuz he didn't have time..he could only use it when he was pushed back by Itachi..each time he's shown using it,

I'm not claiming Neji >> Sasuke..I'm simply saying Neji is superior to him in a taijutsu fight...the fact that sasuke is a main characters does matter even if I never stated that..sasuke has been shown fighting opponents while we haven't seen Neji's full powers yet...so that actually should be taking into consideration
If Kishi sasy Neji is 4.5 in terms of speed, which is the same as Sasuke..why should we go against that?..sasuke plays a bigger role in the manga..far bigger than Neji, so we get to see him far more than Neji..but if kishi says Neji>>Sasuke in terms of Taijutsu and equal in terms of speed, why should we argue that..the guy created the manga and knows this...simply because we haven't seen much of Neji but have seen a lot from sasuke doesn't make sasuke>> Neji in taijutsu or speed..obviously, feats suggest sasuke is stronger than Neji overall

From what we've seen, that is judging from shippuden..anyone can say Shika and choji are above Neji simply because we've seen them fight more than him...but Neji is a jounin while they're chuunins..this matters..a lot of people say rank doesn't matter cuz of Naruto and sasuke's rank but these 2 haven't been in the village for quite a while

and you have yet to come up with proof that shunshin isnt counted, considering that is the main form of ninja movement. guy isnt able to use ninjutsu effectively like other ninja. it was just stated by his dad. summoning is a ninjutsu, but he has yet to show any other ninjutsu besides that one. again their base speed far outclasses anyone because it is comparable to people who do use shunshin regularly like kakashi and sasuke so it wouldnt make sense for their speed to only be slightly above average in comparison to most ninjas 'base' speed.

In Gai's case..deidera isn't casting any jutsu or standing still in one place..if he was, the outcome could have been different due to a counter attack ...sasuke evaded this guy's jutsu and quickly countered...

Where the hell is it stated that Gai DOESNT have shunshin speed? Have yet to see that.......... and the numbers DO mean jack in a matchup when other things such as sensory abilities,gates,curse marks,sm,kcm,sharingan precog matter. And furthermore, it doesn't include jutsus at all(eg sakura has a 3 in strength, and naruto/sasuke have a 3.5, when at the time of writing, sakura's strenght was far above those 2.) The only things that REALLY matter are speed feats-and portrayal to a far lesser extent.

Sasuke is shown to simultaneously operate Fuma Shurikens, use high speed maneuvers, and use Chidori Spear against Deidara. Neji doesn't stand a chance against Sasuke even at base level, whose strike speed is off the charts, backed by the masterful use of his sword.

Not if he uses Rotation which will spin his worries away XD. Or he could use Hakke Kusho as he is approaching him/running at him and blow a hole through him. (I don't know if Hakke Kusho is strong enough to pierce through skin)
