Description: Bob-ombs are moving mechanical bombs with painted eyes with working mechanical feet being powered by a wind-up key found in the back of the construct. Bob-ombs were based on the combination of a children's toy and high explosives allowing the user to catch the opponent off guard. They come in four different variations each being used for different scenarios and each being situational. They also range in size and depending on their size have a different strength and speed the higher the rank the stronger and faster they will be. C rank Bob-ombs are only three inches tall and three inches wide they are very weak in comparison to the rest having the power of roughly five paper bombs with an explosive force of a C rank attack these are rather slow moving much slower then a well-trained shinobi can ran being roughly as fast as a S-jounin ranked ninja. Next are the B rank bob-ombs which are double the size of the C rank variation being four inches tall and four inches wide. They are somewhat more powerful then the C rank variation being double the strength and speed able to move about as fast as a Jounin running full sprint their explosive force being enough to leave a small crater and take out low ranking earth jutsu B rank and below. The A rank variation is double the size and power of the B rank variation being 8 inches tall and 8 inches wide the explosive force is enough to take out large earthen constructs A rank and below their power seems somewhat surprising for their mediocre size their speed is about that of a Sanin ranked nin being rather fast able to keep up with most opponents. Finally the largest of the bob-ombs are nearly a foot and a half tall being 16 inches tall and 16 inches wide their explosive force is the highest of them all being able to take out even giant earthen constructs S rank and below. Their speed is that of a kage ranked ninja able to run and move at a fair speed keeping up with nearly any opponent who isn't under the affect of some kind of speed enhancing technique.

The Bob-ombs come in four different types each only denoted by the color of their eyes which are painted on their mechanical face. The first is red, the next is yellow, the third is blue and the fourth is green. Each type has a special ability that can be used in battle to help the user in an offensive manner.

Red-Eyed Bob-ombs: These are the basic Bob-ombs the explosive variation mentioned above. Their power has already been mentioned above and are the easiest to created and use. They take only a single hand-seal to create and their power and speed depend heavily on the chakra put into them. Only this variation has the explosive properties the rest either release something or create something from themselves. This vacation also creates a bright flash upon detonation able to blind anyone in short range of them if they're looking at it. This lasts about as long as the blindness created from a flash bomb.

Yellow-Eyed Bob-ombs: The Yellow-Eyed bob-ombs are loaded with various ninja weapons and depending on their size the weapons and tools vary. No matter the power they only cover a short-mid range area with the weapons. The C rank version is full of simple caltrops. When detonated these bob-ombs release a omni-directional burst of them that land on the ground and make walking harder causing piecing and tearing damage to the soles of the opponent's feet. The B rank version can be loaded with various small weapons such as caltrops, senbons and shuriken these will cause cutting and ripping damage to anything in a short-mid range area attacking everything mercilessly. The A rank version can be loaded with any of the previous weapons as well as kunai, sais and tantos. Finally the S rank version can be loaded with any weapon like swords, sais, chains, sickles anything stated before etc. These don't have much explosive force but instead release the weapons outward in a pulse allowing for the user to create bursts and pulses of weapons to force the opponent into a defensive stance.

Blue-Eyed Bob-ombs: The Blue eyed variation is filled with chakra infused smoke or chakra infused gas that can make breathing nearly impossible. C rank is enough to fill up a small area such as short range, B rank can fill up a short-mid range area, A rank can fill up a short-long range area and S rank can fill up the entire battlefield akin to the Hidding in Mist technique. However if the opponent is stuck inside of the gas/smoke cloud he'll be affected as well.

Green-Eyed Bob-ombs: These are arguable the most useful. They can be charged with a chakra nature and when detonated will release that chakra into the state it would naturally take. EG: if katon chakra is used the bob-omb will release a pulse of fire comparable in strength to the rank of the bob-omb. This can be done with the basic five elements allowing for the user to add an elemental nature into his fighting style. Katon chakra will create fire, fuuton chakra will create cutting wind, suiton chakra will create water, raiton chakra will created unfocused lighting and doton chakra will create mud. These bob-ombs aren't filled with the element itself but the chakra that will create it the detonation acts as a trigger allowing the user to mold the chakra by performing two handseals.
Notes:
-The user can create or use the equivalent of an S rank with this technique so if he uses the S rank version he can only create a single bob-omb if however he uses something like the B rank version he'll be able to create four bob-ombs.
-Bob-ombs have a three turn cd and can last for two turns before being forcibly detonated.
-Can only be used four times a battle


What I'd do.

Also I'd personally use the Shadow Shuriken tech everytime I used the Yellow-Eyed version xD just for the lulz. Anyway you don't have to do it that way I'm just saying it'd be how I'd do it.

Description: The user will perform the Snake → Monkey → Bird handseals and will start channeling steel chakra to the desirable area. the user will use the steel chakra to make a number of cacti rise from the ground. the size of cacti goes from a small 20 centimeters tall cactus to a 2.5 meters tall one and by using this jutsu the user is able to make a single cactus or a whole forest of steel cacti. As any normal green cactus, the cacti have large numbers of steel needles covering their bodies, the needle is 10 centimeters tall at maximum and half centimeter at minimum. After performing seal of confrontation, the user is able to make some or all of the cacti shoot their needles in all directions making a barrage of needles similar to that of Amegakure's umbrella. However, the user isn't able to control their directions with chakra.
note: can be used four times per battle.
note: the needles barrage counts as a move and can be done once per cactus.

✦ Declined, few issues exist. One, your CFS makes no mention to elemental affinities alongside this style, ergo you cannot make jutsus that create elemental affinities with it. The Blue eyed bombs are iffy as you are not a smoke user and using chakra infused smoke is generally a trait of Smoke manipulators. Furthermore, you say that it makes breathing nearly impossible put dome clarify and expand on what this really means battle wise. And filling something from short to long range is essentially filling the entire battlefield, making the S ranked version useless. Other than that, nice job Howard! ✦

This variation also creates a bright flash upon detonation able to temporarily blind anyone in short range of them if they're looking at it. This lasts about the length of a single turn enough to create an opening to exploit. The flash only has enough brightness to blind things in a short range area.

Both the smoke and gas burn the linings of the throat, the nose and if breathed in deep enough the lungs causing the opponent to cough and gag uncontrollably. It will also cause burning chest pain to anyone inside the area of effect. This won't stop them from performing hand seals or even kill them but it will force them into a vulnerable state where they won't be able to react properly a lot like the Five Senses Confusion technique and even if they remove the gas and smoke from the area they'll be effected for another turn until they catch their breath. C rank is enough to fill up a small area such as short range, B rank can fill up a short-mid range area, A-S rank can fill up a short-long range area however some of the gas from the S rank version has an explosive property allowing the user to ignite the gas in a short-mid range area around the bob-omb causing damage to anything in the area of effect. This explosion is enough to knock an opponent around breaking bones and causing moderate 1st-2nd degree burns but isn't fatal. After exploding the gas around the area enters the open area surrounding the opponent again in dense thick smoke and gas.

Green-Eyed Bob-ombs: These are incendiary bombs filled with flammable oil. C rank is enough to cover an opponent when they explode. B rank is enough to cover the opponent and a short range area around them in thick flammable oil. A rank is enough to cover the opponent in oil and cover a short-mid range area around the bob-bomb comfortably. S rank covers the entire field in oil a lot like how the smoke and gas variant covers the battlefield this only affects the ground meaning the user will need to be in the air to avoid the oil. This oil can be ignited by any fire jutsu, or any lightning jutsu causing anything covered in the oil to be lit ablaze burning rapidly. Due to it being an oil/grease fire simple water techniques won't extinguish them. The fire is enough to cause varying burns from 2nd to 3rd degree if not quickly dealt with and prolonged exposure can cause even 4th degree burns. The best way to deal with the fire from these flames is to smother them and not try to douse them with water. However a one rank higher Water Technique then the Bob-omb would be enough to put them out.

Expanded on the smoke/gas removing the chakra infused aspect and explaining how the smoke and gas react to an opponent when inhaled. Description: This Technique is a combination of two steel release techniques, (Kōton: Mori Yuubu ) Steel Release: Lance of Valor and (Kōton: Suchīrushīrudo) - Steel Release: Steel Shield with adding an extra new steel creation to them. The user performs Bird → Horse → Rat → Bird handseal, combining the two technique together into one by enveloping the user's dominant arm with a steel lance made by (Kōton: Mori Yuubu ) Steel Release: Lance of Valor and the other hand will be covered by a steel shield made by (Kōton: Suchīrushīrudo) - Steel Release: Steel Shield. The new steel creation is that the user will start creating a full-body armor made of steel plates that will cover all parts of the user's body except his eyes and an opening for breathing. The Armor ability is A-Ranked and the two other jutsu are the same as original. The steel armor's purpose is full-body protection only and it counts as a B-Rank ability. Thus, it's able to protect the user from A-rank and weaker water and earth jutsus, B-Rank and weaker steel, fire and wind jutsus, C-Rank and weaker lightning and lightning based (CEs and KGs) jutsu. However, the user is able to take A-Rank and weaker Taijutsu techniques without being affected and any kind of normal ninja tool (non-chakra infused) won't be able to deal damage to the armor.

(Tonfāburasutā: Reboryūshonzu) - Tonfa Blasters: Rave-olution
Rank: S
Type: Weapon
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 40 (20 when striking)
Damage Points: 80 (40 when striking)
Description: Rave-olution is a pair of hollowed out Tonfa with the ability to compress and release the user's scorch chakra into blasts and fair sized spheres that resemble bullet like constructs similar to those created by Scorch Release: Extremely Steaming Murder. Each Tonfa can create two bullet like constructs that can be shot out toward an opponent at short - mid range when shot off one by one each of these bullets are S rank if two are shot off simultaneously they are each A rank and so on if all four are shot off in one turn each count as roughly a B rank attack. This only counts as one jutsu no matter how many of the bullets the user shoots off in a single turn but due to the reduced power per bullet this evens out. These bullets have enough heat and force to evaporate jutsu two ranks stronger then themselves allowing the user to easily overpower a water user and can also cause deep internal burns if direct contact is made.
The second ability is to create small blast like explosions that emanate from the Tonfa themselves when striking an opponent the Tonfa release a mass of scorch chakra creating a blast of scorch flames that travel through whatever the user is striking causing superficial burns as bad as second degree and evaporating any moisture it comes into contact with. This can leave an opponent in a weakened state due to the removed moisture and cause their skin to peel, crack and turn black due to being charred. This is roughly B rank in power and can be used once per turn allowing for the user to pull off three reinforced strikes with the tonfa before they need a one turn cd. These Tonfa cannot be broken and can also be summoned if not with the user at the start of a battle.
Notes:
-Can only fire off four sphere like bullets their power being reduced by the number
-Can only use the explosive ability once per turn allowing for three strikes (power shared between them) before a one turn cd is needed

Description: A passive steel release ability accessible only by masters of steel release. The technique works as an improved version of (Kōton: Mukankaku no Yoroi) - Steel Release: Impervious Armour which makes the user harden their own body unconsciously once a part gets in contact with any other physical object. the hardening is instantaneous and takes only a fraction of second to harden the touched part of the user's body. Being only activated when the user's body makes a "physical contact" with things means that fire and lightning jutsus won't activate it and the user won't have to worry about steel's weakness to lightning. Being only concerned about the user's skin makes the user able to use other chakra natures when the jutsu is active.
note: can be used three times per battle

Description: Being already in midair, the user will perform Bird → Snake handseals and create a big sword made of steel. Although the sword is already heavy since it's made of steel and its size is very big, the user will use the (Doton: Kajūgan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique to increase its weight drastically. Due to the sword's weight, the user will get pulled downward swiftly due to the effect of gravity and as the sword hits the ground it will cause a tremor due to the impact, strong enough to make big summoning of Gamabunta's size lose their balance and fall down, and will make a big cloud of dust and sand to cover the whole field. The impact of the sword is strong enough to destroy A-Rank or weaker steel structure, S-Rank or weaker Earth structure, B-Rank or weaker structures made of elements harder than steel. If the user is strong enough (or is using a technique making them stronger) the sword can be used in Kenjutsu fights. The sword is destroyed when it hits the ground or a structure of rank equal to it, elemental weaknesses and strengths are applied.

Background:

Long ago before Toph Beifong started training in Lightning release, she ran with avatar Aang to help him in the great war, her father sent her old earth release sensei, Master Yu, and the tournament host of Earth Rumble VI, Xin Fu. Toph got a letter that told her to meet her mother. She entered an upper-ring building that she found empty. She went in, but only suspected trickery at the last minute, and was captured in a steel coffin. Master Yu and Xin Fu emerged from the shadows and prepared to return Toph to their parents in Gaoling, so that they may retrieve their reward.

Out on a road, a horse was pulling a cart carrying Master Yu and Xin Fu as well as Toph, who was trapped within a huge steel box. The two up front were arguing about which way to go in order to back to the Beifong estate, when Toph yelled at the two to stop arguing and let her out to go to the bathroom. Master Yu started to get up to let her out, but Xin Fu sharply pulled him back from the action, noticing the obvious trick where his companion did not. Toph pounded against the cage she was in, only infuriating Xin Fu more, who told her that no matter how good an earth release user she thought she may be, there was no way that she could bend steel. Toph continued bashing her hands into the steel walls of her coffin trying to bend it while using some of her steel chakra, she learned how to use long ago. Suddenly, with a palm thrust of Toph towards the steel wall, the steel moved a little bit. with more Chu Gar techniques by Toph she was able to create a hole in the steel coffin, big enough to let her escape from Xin Fu and Master Yu and keep helping avatar Aang in his journey.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

Metalbending, or more specifically Steel Bending, revolves around a Steel user manipulating pieces of steel through hand movements based on Southern Praying Mantis kung fu, also known as Chu Gar. Chu Gar is known for its short power methods, and has aspects of both internal and external techniques; in application, the emphasis is on hand and arm techniques, and a limited use of low kicks, this makes the Southern Praying Mantis art somewhat akin to what many would call "street fighting." The hands are the most readily available for attack and defence of the upper body, and protect the stylist by employing ruthless techniques designed to inflict serious injury. The legs are moved quickly into range through footwork to protect and defend the body, and kicks are kept low, short and quick so as to never leave the Southern Mantis combatant off balance and vulnerable. Through these movements, the user manipulates pieces of steel that are generally within short range of the user, causing them to move at the user’s bidding.

Metalbending through the Chu Gar stances is done by manipulating pieces of metal in direct contact with the user as the user performs specific stances, manipulating small pieces of steel from their body or steel they are in direct contact with. This is best performed by the user having an armor fashioned with several metal platings that the user will be able to easily manipulate. Common uses of Chu Gar metalbending is capturing foes ( by manipulating steel platings as the user attacks the foe’s body to ensnare limbs that the user manipulates ), striking with brute force ( by manipulating steel platings as the user strikes the opponent’s body to increase effectiveness and cause more impact damage ), and other similar uses, all based on short range usage.

Users of this style often carry a long steel retractable cable on a small pack on their backs that they are able to manipulate to ensnare a foe or foe quick evasive movements.

In addition to Chu Gar, more specifically, Metalbending is based on the (Kyosei Kōton no Jutsu ) Greater Steel Release[/] which is the basis of how a Metalbender is able to manipulate and generate these pieces of metal. The need for handseals is substituted through hand and body movements and taijutsu usage.

There are 4 different levels of mastery of metalbending. The first and lowest level is beginner, where one is introduced to both Cho Gar Kung Fu as well as the basics behind metalbending. The next level is student, when one begins to combine both Cho Gar and steel usage together. After one has become adaquate and skilled in Metalbending usage, they are deemed an expert of the style, but there is still a different between Mastery and expertise in Metalbending. To be considered a master of the style, one must go through several trials chosen by other Masters and/or the creator of the style. Mastery of the style allows one to manipulate metal sources of a wider distance than the mid range distance normally bestowed on Metalbending jutsus.

Description: The user starts by raising his hands upwards from his side to in front of his face, causing metal strips along his arms to rise as he shifts his stance by putting his left foot ahead and retracting his right, turning inwards towards his right. He then extends his left hand as he bends his wrist while lowering his right hand and twisting it to perform a palm thrust to the stomach of the opponent. As the user does these movements, he causes two steel platings to move, the first aimed at the foe’s head, aiming to strike and wrap around the forehead while the second plating moves to the inside of the user’s right palm, increasing the damage felt by the palm thrust. As the second strike lands, the user causes the steel plating to “stick” to the target’s stomach as the user extends both arms, left raised high and right pointing towards the earth. The user then moves these arms into opposite positions ( left arm low and the right arm high ), manipulating the steel platings to cause the opponent’s body to rotate upside down and higher in the air. As the user raises his hands, he shifts his feet, moving the right one forward before moving the left back forward as he strikes forward with the left backhand, manipulating an additional plating to strike the foe in the stomach as the user’s fist hits the chest and knocks the foe backwards.

Additional effects and Restrictions:
Must be a Steel Release user and finished training in Taijutsu, as well as Steel Release
User of this style are capable of manipulating steel platings on their bodies or within short range in order to utilize this style.
Users of this style are able to use the steel wires in their casings on their back for traveling purposes, such as extending a wire to grab something and then drawing themselves in much like a grappling gun, moving at the base speed of the user.

Declined. Ok for the most part, except half a cm for the small ones? Do you know how small that is? In the heat of battle, noticing such a thing and having the reaction time to deal with it is difficult, if not near impossible if you are defending from another jutsu already. Change the part, make them at least noticeable enough so the opponent can calculate them into his defenses. Also: 4 times is too much + a small forest makes no sense, if you have a note saying once per cactus. How many cacti are that? 50? 20? 100? Don't use such a vague description, only to then give yourself the opportunity to exploit it.

Description: Rave-olution is a pair of hollowed out Tonfa with the ability to compress and release the user's scorch chakra into blasts and fair sized spheres that resemble bullet like constructs similar to those created by Scorch Release: Extremely Steaming Murder. Each Tonfa can create two bullet like constructs that can be shot out toward an opponent at short - mid range when shot off one by one each of these bullets are S rank if two are shot off simultaneously they are each A rank and so on if all four are shot off in one turn each count as roughly a B rank attack. This only counts as one jutsu no matter how many of the bullets the user shoots off in a single turn but due to the reduced power per bullet this evens out. These bullets have enough heat and force to evaporate jutsu two ranks stronger then themselves allowing the user to easily overpower a water user and can also cause deep internal burns if direct contact is made.
The second ability is to create small blast like explosions that emanate from the Tonfa themselves when striking an opponent the Tonfa release a mass of scorch chakra creating a blast of scorch flames that travel through whatever the user is striking causing superficial burns as bad as second degree and evaporating any moisture it comes into contact with. This can leave an opponent in a weakened state due to the removed moisture and cause their skin to peel, crack and turn black due to being charred. This is roughly B rank in power and can be used once per turn allowing for the user to pull off three reinforced strikes with the tonfa before they need a one turn cd. These Tonfa cannot be broken and can also be summoned if not with the user at the start of a battle.

The part about evaporating jutsu two ranks above needs to be removed because it is already known that's what Scorch does in relation to water jutsu, it's just unnecessary filler info to include otherwise. Deep Internal burns needs to be clarified as well. The explosion based ability needs to be removed, as described it seems more of a Blast Release ability that evaporates water. And this would be the equivalent to a CW, so if you have one you will need to quote and drop it as well. ✦

The microbots are created within short range of the user but can be manipulated up to long range simply by thought. They can form anything imaginable such as blades, shields, golem/animalistic like constructs as well as be used for transportation. They move as fast as the user's base speed.

Description: this jutsu can be used only when there's big-sized chakra-infused flames short range from the scorch release user. The user will release pure scorch chakra from his/her skin which will be used to suck up the flames into the user's skin, without affecting it, then to the user's chakra system. When this is done, the user's skin will glow orange/red for the following three turns and this glow shows the presence of the absorbed chakra inside the user's body. During the said three turn, any A-ranked or weaker Scorch, fire or fire-based KGs won't deal damage to the user but the user can't absorb them till the reminder of the said three turns. The absorbed fire chakra can be used to strengthen the user's own fire and scorch jutsu for the three following turn of using this jutsu, however, the user can't use water or wind jutsus. the absorbed chakra can be used as chakra surge to break the user out of B-ranked or weaker genjutsu but it will need the whole amount of absorbed chakra to be used.

Fire and lightning can be counted as a physical object that would trigger the activation of the armour if it's stated in the jutsu description that fire/lightning is dense and hard as solid objects as stated in (Katon: Ryūen Hōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique for example. getting hit by a solid, dense and hard object stimulates the activation of the ability and once the activation starts the ability stays active for the following three turns.

Description: Lucifer is a mechanic armor made of steel powered by the user's raiton chakra, shaped as a mature male human with muscular body, wearing black and gray clothes made of steel plates, his hair is shoulder-tall and made of steel wires. Lucifer has 12 big black wings, the left side of the wings are demonic while the right side is angelic shaped wings. the feathers of the angelic wings are sharp steel blades and he's capable of shooting a barrage of steel feathers at targets with high accuracy, the feathers are B-ranked with short to mid range reach and can be done four times per fight. the twelve wings that he possesses allows him to fly with the user's base speed and stand in midair. While in Lucifer the user can use only steel and lightning release jutsus and taijutsu techniques are done faster and deals double the damage. when made, Lucifer (made only of steel plates and wires) rises from the ground short range behind the user then engulf the user inside it, then the user starts powering it with raiton chakra. While inside, the user's senses are all done through Lucifer's body and the machines inside his body act as the medium that transfers the information from the outer environment to the user's nervous system. While inside the user can still breathe atmospheric air normally through canals passing through Lucifer's body, and the air passes through many machines that filter the air from any possible poisons, smoke or dust resulted from the battle that may harm the user.
note: every jutsu Lucifer uses counts as one of the three jutsus allowed per turn.

Series Summary:



The Continent of Song is in chaos. The sinister secret society known as Demon Card is using the power of Dark Bring to destroy everything in their path. The only things capable of stopping Dark Bring are the Rave stones. Unfortunately, the Rave Stones were scattered around the globe in an explosion 50 years ago, so now they must be collected by the Rave Master in order to stop Dark Bring once and for all.



Critical Review:



Rave Master, Hiro Mashima's first manga to get so famous. During the progress of the manga his drawing abilities got developed.. well developed actually. at the first few chapters all the characters looked like Haru, don't remember this issue lasted for how many chapter or how many volumes but Mashima's over all drawing got much better.

The character development I give it 8.5/10. All the main characters improved as the story moved on. Haru Glory, he started as a kid whose talk was almost all about what his sister Cattleya taught him and told him during the time he lived in Garage Island. My sister Cattleya said this is bad thing and my sister Cattleya says that is good thing and so on. Along the story, Haru began to have his own views about things bad and good and what he should do and what he shouldn't. In few words, he matured enough to have his own opinion about things.

I'll not talk about everyone of the main characters' development because if I did I won't finish this review before my sixties. I'll instead talk about weapons development. First of all Haru, at his very first fight he won by just punching the bad guy with his hand that was holding the Rave stone. The punch was accompanied by explosion announcing that he became the second Rave Master. After that fight, Shiba gave Haru his sword, The Ten Commandments, to use it in his quest of finding the missing four Rave stones. Along his journey, Haru became able to use the ten forms of TCM sword starting from Eisen Meteor, the basic form, Explosion, Silfarion, Rune Save, Blue Crimson, Mel Force, Gravity Core, Million Suns and Sacrifare. Oh, those are nine and the sword is called the "Ten" commandments. I know the TCM sword Shiba gave to Haru had no Tenth form. However, Harmio Musica, Haru's bestie and the grandson of the blacksmith who made the original TCM, forged the tenth form of the TCM, Ravelt. The sword which Haru used in the very final battle in the series.

As for Elie, at the beginning of the manga, her only weapon was her infamous Tonfa Blasters. Those Tonfa Blasters were with her wherever she went. She took her Tonfa Blasters to a dance contest :|. Later on, She became able to use Resha's Staff of space and time, she became able to control Etherion and use magic, beside her strongest weapon evah, her Gambling abilities.

Musica, I don't think his weapon developed a lot when Reina's silver snake combined with his silver necklace but he became able to use the Silver ray as his weapon,

Description: The user will perform the Bird → Dragon → Horse handseals and create up to five steel squids. The size of the head of each one of them is as big as a mature human and they have ten tentacles. The length of each tentacle ranges between one meter and three meters and they are provided with suckers to allow them to attach themselves to the target. A squid moves in air using a group of inner machines that pushes air in different direction that allows it to maneuver freely in midair at the will of the user. A squid can be used to completely immobilize a mature human using its tentacles and the tantacles are able to release electric charges to shock, help in immobilizing, and paralyze the opponent. A squid's head have a mouth-like opening with sharp razor teeth that allows it to bite the target, chew and eat it and the teeth can cut through A-rank solid structures (weaknesses, strengths and logic apply).

Description: The user after performing Bird → Rabbit → Dog → Horse the user will create a medium sized bird made of steel wires and plates of one meter body length, not including its one and half meters long wire-ish tail, and one and half meters wing span. The body of the phoenix is hollowed thus it can fly very fast however reduced when the space inside its body is occupied by either scrolls, tags or anything within the logical size. The main purpose of creating the phoenix in battle is distracting the opponent with its high flying speed, although it can also participate in damaging the target with its sharp claws, wrap its long tail around the opponent's neck till they suffocate or throw a barrage of its feathers (short-mid range, C-ranked, 1 turn cool down, doesn't count towards the 3 jutsus limit). A special ability of this phoenix is that once it's destroyed it can be reformed with the user performing another hand seal (doesn't count towards the 3 jutsu per turn limit). It can be reformed from no matter how small the pieces of steel but they have to be withing mid range of the user.

Being the chief of Amegakure's police department, Toph is mostly seen wearing the outfit of Amegakure's police department AKA the metalbenders' armor. The armor is metallic in color with yellow lines decorating her collar, chest, shoulders, arms and legs.


Personality



When first introduced, Toph brought a completely new personality to the group. Unlike the nurturing Katara, flighty Aang, or gruff but goofy Sokka, Toph was fiercely independent, sarcastic, direct, stubborn, and confrontational. She appeared to have the same carefree and adventurous personality as Aang and she was very tomboyish in the way she acted and dressed, in contrast to the delicate doll her parents saw her as. However, unlike Aang, who avoided fighting whenever possible, Toph loved battling and took great pride in her earth ninjutsu skills. She appeared eager to prove that she was as strong as anyone who could see and once claimed that she was "the greatest earth ninjutsu user in the world"

Toph's eagerness to prove that she could be independent led to some initial difficulties with Aang and his friends. Toph insisted that she could "carry her own weight" and often mistook a simple friendly gesture. Her encounter with Iroh, however, taught her that Aang, Katara, and Sokka cared for her because they were friends.

Toph was often brutally honest when criticizing others, especially her friends. She was vocal about her opinions on others regardless of status (the Avatar, Aang) or age (Iroh). Her occasional attitude or aloofness is likely related to her being the only child of one of the richest families in the Earth Country. Due to her time as a competitor and champion of earth jutsus tournaments, she was an expert in verbally taunting and insulting her opponents and, on occasion, her friends, particularly Sokka. She revealed to Katara that, being unable to see what she looks like, she did not feel the need to fuss over her appearance. However, despite her many quirks, Toph showed that she was a quick learner, and her courage and loyalty to her new friends seemed very stable.

Toph and Katara seemed to be polar opposites; while Katara was kind, welcoming and supportive, Toph was rough, unyielding and steadfast. These differences in personality extended to the way both girls taught Aang; however, Toph eventually showed a bit of compromise in order to help Aang through his initial difficulty with earth jutsu. Despite occasional clashes or spats, Toph and Katara generally got along.

One of Toph's most obvious traits involved personal hygiene. She was accustomed to lying on the ground and walking everywhere barefoot leaving her soles quite soiled, a habit common among the earth jutsus users. Also, she had been seen belching loudly, picking her nose or toes, spitting, and was usually covered in dirt or, as she called it, "a healthy coating of earth".

Toph was well-educated in the manners and bearings of high society— she merely consciously and constantly chose to ignore them. She made an exception when the group needed to go to a special party to see the Earth King, in order to give news of the solar eclipse, only to meet the head of the Dai Li, Long Feng.

She had high self-esteem in regard to many of her abilities and was more than determined to show that she would not let her weakness deter her from living freely and fighting like everyone else. However, sometimes this acted as a ruse to hide personal insecurities. After getting a makeover with Katara in Ba Sing Se, some residents of the city mocked Toph for it (who retaliated with a prank). She told Katara that "one of the good things about being weak [was] that [she did] not have to waste [her] time worrying about appearances" and was not looking for anyone's approval. Katara voiced that it was something she admired in Toph but could tell that she had been hurt by the insult and added that though it did not matter, she was in fact pretty, which visibly cheered up the weak girl.

In Ba Sing Se, Toph became angry when Sokka suggested that she needed help putting up fliers. She angrily slapped up a poster herself, only to inadvertently place it backwards and say, "It's upside-down, isn't it?" Also, she sarcastically complimented Sokka on his drawings of Appa despite the obvious fact that she could not see them. Later, in the Fire Country, after being presented with the same wanted poster twice, Toph vocally expressed her annoyance with the constant oversight. Toph was comfortable enough, however, with the group's absent-mindedness on the subject of her weakness to even joke about it herself at times. For example, while searching for the library, Toph, while flying on Appa, claimed that she saw it, before remarking, "That's what it'll sound like when one of you spots it," and waving a hand in front of her eyes.

While hijacking a ship, Toph mistook Sokka's comment about taking the wheel, thinking he was referring to her. By the smile on her face, it was pretty clear that she was gleeful about getting another chance to correct him. However, it turned out that Sokka was talking to Suki, and Toph managed to subsequently cover up her original intention pretty well. At the reunion in the Jasmine Dragon after the passing of Sozin's Comet, she made a joke about Sokka's drawing, saying that she thought everyone looked perfect.

Because of the restrictions placed upon her by her parents and the fact that their servants waited upon her hand-and-foot lest she hurt herself, Toph often seemed to want to take on the responsibilities and obtain the freedoms of adulthood. This caused problems for herself and her friends, most notably during their visit to Fire Fountain City, as she did not always take into account how this might put her in danger or aggravate others. No matter how she acted, though, others realized that she was still a vulnerable child underneath everything else she pretended to be.​

She found parallels between how she was treating them as people by restricting them simply so they could meet her vision of them, just as her parents had done to her, and maturely decided to give up her steel release academy so that she would not use it as an outlet for the pain she felt from her relationship with her parents onto her students. Lucky for her, her students happened to have overheard her conversation with Sokka about this subject, and responded to it by overcoming the limits the rest of the world saw as defining them in an attempt to live up to the vision Toph had had for them, and were finally able to use steel release.​

Toph Beifong was an earth jutsus master, one of the most powerful of her time, and the discoverer of steel release. Blind since birth, Toph was constantly treated condescendingly because of her disability and stature, especially by her overprotective parents. Upon discovering badgermoles, earth jutsus animals who were also blind, she learned how to use earth jutsus as an extension of her senses. This gave her the ability to "see" through every tiny vibration that passes through the ground.

Having developed her own unique style of earthbending, Toph acquired a toughened personality and became famous for winning underground earth jutsus tournaments under the title of the "Blind Bandit", behind her parents' backs. Although initially uninterested in directly aiding the war effort, she eventually chose to leave behind her old life, and travel with Avatar Aang and his friends as his earth jutsus teacher, when her parents finally became unbearable for her. Toph's total mastery over earth jutsus, unique personality, and thoughtful pragmatism made her a valuable addition to the team.​

Toph was the only child of the wealthy Beifong family from Gaoling. Born blind, she was sheltered by her parents, who believed her blindness made her fragile and incapable of looking after herself. They went to extreme measures to protect her, including hiding her existence from the rest of the world, which resulted in very few people knowing that the Beifong family even had a daughter. Poppy and Lao Beifong expected their daughter to be well-mannered and proper due to their noble status in Earth Kingdom society, something with which Toph secretly disagreed, causing her to resent her parents' treatment.

At the age of six, she ran away from home into a cave inhabited by badgermoles. Badgermoles were the first earth jutsu users and according to Toph, she and the creatures understood each other since they were both blind. She learned earth jutsus by imitating their movements. Toph learned to "see" through the use of her earth jutsus, detecting people and other objects through their vibrations, which she sensed through the ground via her bare feet. In the process, she also developed a great sense of hearing.

Lao Beifong later hired the earth jutsu teacher, Master Yu, to instruct her. Acting upon the orders of Toph's father, he did not teach her anything other than beginner's moves, unaware that she had already achieved mastery in the art. She became such a formidable bender that she secretly entered underground earth jutsus tournaments as the Blind Bandit, and was successful to the point where she became the champion of Earth Rumble more than once. After meeting Aang, Toph soon ran away in order to teach him earth jutsus, but also to escape her parents, who never granted her any real freedom.​

Since her mother is originally from the land of wind, Toph had a slight ability to control sand grains with her chakra. However,

Seismic sense

By using techniques like chakra sensing technique and Pressure sensing jutsu, Toph became able to fight even in a thick mist or blindfolded, hence the nickname The Blind Bandit.

The use of this can be compared to Sharingan's brutish level of sensory, able to sense collection of chakra but not the level of clarity and precision Byakugan has.

Note: Can only be used by bios with Sensory ability.
Note: After having on a bio for 1 month, users gain the ability to activate Sensory passively.

The Beifong Armor

Being the chief of Amegakure's Police Department, Toph has her own officer armor. Although the armor has no special abilities, it is capable of withstanding a barrage of normal ninja tools without getting a scratch. To overcome the infamous disadvantage of wearing a steel armor, Toph is wearing a dress made of a special insulator fabric under the armor.​




Amegakure's Umbrella :Hidden Rain's signature weapon. Umbrella's are shown to be used frquently by Rain ninja in anime/manga, this is an optional weapon to add to their biographies. Their abilities:
  • Gliding: Once high in the air and using a wind technique to create a gust an open umbrella could allow extended periods in air by gliding, with the advantage of wind direction user could move long distances slowly but easily and dropping in altitude. With any given technique that pushes, a user could glide above 25m high in the air and move with the speed of 8m/turn.
  • Senbon Shower: releases a hailing "shower" of senbon. It cannot be dodged by moving away since the needles cover a wide area in all directions, controlled by chakra. Although the needles are said to be able to pierce a five millimetre thick steel sheet, they can still be blocked by a powerful enough shield. Medical ninja can dip their senbon with poison to increase their lethality.
