Conditions: These are the 6 paths of Pain. Starting distance 30 meters. Kabuto does not start in SM.
Restrictions: the following Edos cannot be used: Madara, Itachi, Deidara, Dan, 3rd Raikage, and Nagato obviously

I included Konan because she can seal Edos with paper tags, and some of her paper techniques could prove useful.

konan can box kabuto in and white rage should logically be ineffective against her in paper form.
Seeing as jutsu can be used during sound gen, she could also potentially use paper form during that.
Muki tensei is useless against paper form for obvious reasons.

All this to say konan can help protect pain in some situations he can't protect himself and kabuto can't stop her from doing it without oil.

Konan is free to do paper ocean if she likes. However, it takes days, weeks, or even months to prep it. So that's not happening.

I'm restricting ET for you to make this an actual thread but Kabuto still wins. Pain are a ridiculously powerful and diverse set of fighters that few ninja can defeat. Kabuto is one of them. Some of his jutsu don't work due to him being a corpse

Konan will be good defense and support but hasn't shown anything intense enough to properly damage Kabuto. If they start in a cave then Pain has little to fight Kabuto when he becomes one with the earth. His only real option is to make the huge stone sphere like he did with the 6 tails and even then if he's forced into resorting to that this early in the game then he's not going to last very long. Kabuto can break out of that prison with his hydrification, Manda II summoning or his own nature earth bending in general.

Kabuto seriously wins.

Your post makes it seems like Konan can solo DSM Kabuto. Although I agree that Konan can survive most of Kabuto's attacks.

Kabuto should win with some edos though.

Seriously guys, how do you think Kabuto wins without ET?

A single Shinra Tensei can completely change the battlefield to favor Pain. White Rage isn't doing anything against corpses, and Konan can turn her body to paper. Shinra tensei > Muki tensei. Nagato can disturb his chakra through the chakra rods to break them out of Tayuya's genjutsu. Even if Konan dies, Naraka path revives her. And Kabuto has no counter to Konan bombarding him with paper bombs, Asura path spamming missiles, or Nagato's pterodactyl flying from above and raining egg-bombs down on him. Chibaku tensei finishes him if nothing else. That's why I didn't restrict ET, to make this matchup fair.
