yea 10-14 with Itachi with the lead now... wish ppl would contribute and explain why they chose Itachi though

Me Id have say pain would own itachi srry 2 say but look at wat he did to the village the dude was freakin powerful and plus their 6 of em wit diff abilities its not that I'm his fan I'm more of a naruto fan hell I even like itachi more than him but I'd still say pain got my vote well all I'm sayin is just coz u like him more don't mean he would actrully be able to beat paint after wat I've. Seen em do the village and all the ppl it I would say he would not to include that he was he was able to fight pretty well with naruto in sage mode and him wit a couple of fox tails srry if not 2 clear I'm on phone

As for me, I would have to say Pain would own Itachi. Sorry to say this but look at what he did to Konoha. Pain is freaking powerful and plus there are 6 of them with different abilities. I'm not a fan of Pain but I like Naruto more, hell I even like Itachi more but Pain still gets my vote. Just because you like Itachi more doesn't mean he can beat Pain after what I've seen. He was able to fight pretty good even when Naruto was in Sage mode and in his Tailed Beast modes.

This is a tough one but I can't choose a victor out of them, as we haven't seen the full power of Pein or Itachi. Pein didn't learn all their is about the rinnegan and didn't have it master. Itachi had MS mastered but he never used his full power (including his geniusness and not suffering from disease).
Some might say Pein becuase he was the leader (Also known as boss of the akatsuki). All members worked under him and whatever orders he gave they followed. Itachi never caught a tailed beast no akatsuki said anything about it to him neither did Pein showing they know his strength and that he was a ANBU captain at a young age (13)
Pein took out Hanzo's men and Danzo's ANBU including Hanzo, who destroyed the 3 legendary Sannins at their youth age. Itachi masscred his clan (as from what we know) and pretty much owned Oro a Sannin with that genjutsu and cut his arm off so he had to flee, and beat Deidara in less than 5 seconds. One thing in common Tobi feared both as he didn't want to lose his control he had on Pein and He didn't want to incounter Itachi.
Most people will go for the person they favour or they may hate one of them for some reason and vote for others but their is no logic in that. I personally cannot choose who would win, even if I had to predict or take a guess still couldn't decide

I'll rephrase it for ya bro
it basically says that he thinks pain will win not because its his favorite character or anything just because of his feats. As mentioned with his Six Paths of Pain he was able to fight the konoha ninjas and wipe out the whole village. And he was able to fight on par with naruto in sage mode and against 6 kyuubi-tailed naruto.

pein wins easy. he is on such a high level i cannot see itachi compete.
itachi is really cool and really powerful but pein is just a monster.
pein was able to litterally destroy konoha, one of the 5 great shinobi villages on his own.
and not like how sasuke would have by shooting amaterasu at it from afar.
he went head first into it and destroyed it from within fighting even a sharingan user that shocked even itachi with his skill and knowlage of it.
itachi would put up a great fight but in the end the outcome is inevitable.
itachi's sharingan may have been able to make orochimaru melt in delight
but peins rinnegan made konoha crumble before it and the ninja world will fear its power for along time to come.

I wouldn't say Itachi was really following Pein's order. I mean Pein gave orders to all of them but Itachi didn't fulfill a single one, which left Kisame to do them and Itachi was not worried about the consequences.
Also Pein destroyed the leaf village with 6 bodies of him. If Itachi activated Sasunoo for atleast 5 minutes he could easily destroy leaf village also

Just because he was listening to what Pain had to say doesn't mean they were master and pupil. Look at Tobi, he turned out to be the guy in charge and he was scared of Itachi knowing everything about him.
Anyhow, Pain is a beast and it's hard to say who would win on one on one. If Itachi does not have Susano'o and his Spirit Items then there's no doubt that he would lose. However, if he does then it's hard to say.

That's a very good point yet again I'll say though pain had a lot of abilities he was really to his potential who knows I wish they would've it would Make for a good fight after all they both were already dying

Well like I said perviously, Pein gave orders but Itachi never followed them. Kisame did all the work
Yes, Pein does have a lot of abilities in him but his intelligence isn't at the same level of Itachi's so that could take out some advntage Pein would have on Itachi, But still that doesn't gurantee Pein or Itachi a victory.
They both have died without showing their true powers, Itachi's goal wanted to kill Oro knowing the problem he will beocme in the future and to Sasuke, while he still made Sasuke believe he would kill him and in other words he wanted to die by his hands (Sasuke's). Pein, he was only capturing Naruto and was not trying to kill him but at the end he believed in him and scarficed his life. There for both didn't show their full power. Tobi had a lot of respect of Itachi and that itselfs proves a lot

I can't decide. They are both powerful ninja's its too hard to guess..
I like Itachi (obviously) but when I think about it. I am leaning towards the 6 paths of pain. The only problem I see here is if the genjutsu was really effective on Nagato then it would allow Itachi to win..

it would be hard to say, considewring we dont know the full power of itachi (and we also dont know if that was the full power of his abilitys).. but then again we havnt seen the full powers of pain aswell, he was sick too. and almost everyfight we've seen from him, he has always had the odds against him and never went full force at the beginning. but from what we've seen so far i would have to say pain.
the reason is, is that itachis genjutsu (from what we know) can only tag one person (or body) at a time, and we can not compare jmans genjutsu because they were 2 different types of gen's (sound, and eye contact to itachi) sound goes everywere so its hard to not get caught in it,., but anyway, and its been shown that the susano'o isnt indestructible (but itachi has them damn mystical weapons)..
