Orochimaru's Impure world resurection

Im not sure if this thread has already been made ( it probably has) but when orochi was fighting the third hokage and used his IWR and summoned the 1st and 2nd hokage. Who was in the third coffin?

It can't be the fourth because he was sealed away.
Could it be the same person that is in kabuto's mystery coffin because we havnt been able to see who was inside either coffin.

thats what i thought too, but it was in fact the 4th, and i belive in the manga where kabutomaru was about to start the impure world res. he said thats why it couldnt work because the lack of the 4ths dna

It was the fourth hokage, it failed because Minato Namikaze was sealed in the belly of the reaper of death, not because Hiruzen Sarutobi through the tile shiruken at the coffin.

kabuto staes it him self in chapter about edo tensei that 3 years ago orochimaru tried to summon the fourth i think it almost worked because half of his soul is sealed in naruto

Just a simple misunderstanding I'd say. Since it is a fact he needes DNA and that it could've been hard to find. Add the possibility of forgetting about the effects of sealing the soul and we have a misunderstanding^^
