Intel is full, so Orochimaru knows C4. Therefore, wouldn't an adequate counter be to release Raiton Chakra within himself to deactivate the nano-bombs as Sasuke did? Unless I'm forgetting something.

I'm aware of that counter but that's contingent on the snakes having the presence of mind to close their eyelids before Itachi puts them in a genjutsu. They aren't going to have intel unless Orochimaru tells them when he summons them, which slows down his strategy and gives Itachi time to get around the gate. Anyways summons are entirely a non factor in this match due to susano'o as well. Snakes can possibly shed to avoid a slow burning amaterasu but I don't think they'll be able to recover if ignited in the face.

I wasnt really going by your strategy of Orochimaru counters, to push Itachi high diff, they're far better counters then relying on Rasomon Gates as you suggest. Plus you make it seem like it will be difficult for the snakes to perform, there's no slow down here. All mindless snakes respond to Oro (or any Snake summoners) to their will asap. The only one in questioned is Manda, which he isn't necessary to bring out asap.

Anyway, snakes purposes aren't to take down Itachi, but pressure him and force him to use up MS, healthy or not, and straining process helps out Oro.

The only person I think can shed Ammy is Oro and Manda, anyway. MS Sasuke couldnt perform Ama and Sussanoo without drawbacks so your strategy backfires here too, since it is very difficult for Itachi to detect Oral Rebirth[

Konan and Kakuzu don't have a chance. Oro can beat Sasori but mid/high dif. For some reason, Kakuzu gets way overhyped.
