Orochimaru has no goals. He wants to watch things move, because he's bored. Here's a real curveball:
Madara isn't attacking right now. Or being arrogant after the Kage fight. He seems different and more placated now. Why is that? And Kishi hasn't shown us Sasuke and Oro for awhile
What if Madara already lost his body to Orochimarum the master of Edo Tensei?
To be more of a grey character, that isn't really on the good side, but may be supporting them in one way or the other. It's quite common. Think of Sir Crocodile from One Piece for instance.
Madara controls the Juubi.

Naruto has more of a linear plot than One Piece so as much as i love croco, u cant really make that comparison
That was just an example. It's very common plot device to bring back a once centerstage villain as a more subsitute character later on.
i highly doubt orochimaru plays a side role
But ever since his failed attack on Konoha and the introduction of Akatsuki, he pretty much did. He was a side-villain from that point to his apparent death at Sasuke's hands.
he was fully aware of akatsukis plot and he knew Tobi wasnt Madara
We don't know about that. Kabuto knew that, but Kabuto isn't Oro.
But even if he knew, it wouldn't change anything about him being more on the sidelines.
It cant be any more accurate. Orochimaru should indeed be the main antagonist. In the earlier episodes, when Sasuke was about to fight Naruto at the hideout, Oro appeared and stopped Sasuke. Saying he needed Konoha's assistance to eliminate the Akasutki.
Who's remaining? Only Obito and Madara. One by one, they went down. When they do, its Oro's turn to shine.
We all want to see what can Oro do with Sasuke's body right? Dont you!? I want to see it man.

be honest, did u even read the thread? lol
I did. You didn't say anything about Oro knowing Tobi's identity.
so u just ignore the abundance of evidence...smh
What evidence exactly? At best, there are some signs or hints. As I said, we don't know.
TheoryIn the next arc (s), I feel as if we can expect Orochimaru to be the main and final antagonist. I believe Sasuke will finally overcome his hatred and lust for power and will agree to return to Konoha and be forgiven. However, I think Orochimaru will take control of his body before that occurs and the final battle between Sasuke and Naruto will actually be Naruto vs. Orochimaru in Sasuke's body (think about Riku and Ansem from Kingdom Hearts). Because of his knowledge regarding Rikudou Sennin, i think Orochimaru will upgrade Sasuke's body with Senju DNA along with any other tricks he has up his sleeves. This will be a fitting end to the series, in my opinion.
