[Discussion] Ooh poor One Piece.

151 chapters in and I realize these dudes don't kill anyone.:|
The comedy was pretty good, and there's nice build up for the fights to
happen, but the villains never died(to my knowledge).

Realized that and just about dropped it, no joke.
One Piece introduces absolutely despicable villains
that'd happily kill anything that doesn't side with them,
regardless of everything(but money)- yet live after being "defeated."

There's like no justice, especially knowing even if the villains
broke all of their ribs they'd just recover in like 2 weeks
One Piece time.

Feels like it lacks any real resolution aside from the guys "defeated"
the villain, sure you freed the village, but won't that guy just come back?:|
That's pretty shitty stuff that makes question if I should continue
reading this.U_U

Villains who Luffy defeats go to Impel Down a.k.a prison.Well not all but some of them go there.Anyways even if they got beaten and don't go to prison Oda makes it useful for plot later in the story.

U don't get many kills but kills do happen.

Anyways if u don't like it drop it.

OP is one of the best if not the best ongoing shonen manga.

I really wish they killed some people.. or that Luffy did, kind of childish.

They don't even really do as much pirate stuff as of stealing treasure all they do is follow Luffy and his silly mouth declaring war after every fight.

Repetitive, but I still like it just because Luffy is boss.

Actually we just had two villain deaths at Punk Hazard and two other really important ppl died at Marineford:wut:
Also since when is dying the of way to achieve justice. When evil pirates get caught by the Marines they go to Impel Down which is six levels of Hell.:|

But either way, dropping a series just because no one dies is kinda stupid to be honest but heh, it's your choice (if you do decide to drop it that is). I'd say you should keep reading.

One piece is not a series where characters die for the sake of dying. If a death happens, it will impact the plot in a major way. So yes, there aren't alot of deaths but the few deaths that we have DO count and I mean, they do count ALOT.

Not everyone stays 100% evil though. U usually get more development and insight into that character. Even when they do become a threat again a lot of times the circumstances are different and they become a lot stronger

That's because Luffy doesn't kill his opponents. Defeating them is good enough for him and Oda even pointed it out in an SBS. There are deaths later on though. If you want to see characters die and see villains get killed, read/watch HxH.

Luffy doesn't kill people because he never needed to, and someone normally kills others when they need unless you are a blood thirsty mofo which luffy clearly isn't.
