But he was never portrayed as being actually weaker. Meaning he wasn't portrayed as slower or less physically capable. In fact, during the second bout, Luffy was shown to be more than a match for Croc when the intangibility was removed from play.

With Katakuri, not only has Luffy been unable to physically hurt him, but he HAS been outclassed by him as well. This isn't Luffy having a particular hang-up he can't get past, this is Luffy fairing up against someone who is just plain superior to him AND he can't hurt him. The last time a situation like this happened was with the likes of Pacifista and Admirals pre-skip. So going by portrayal from previous events, this situation is actually similar to situations where Luffy only made it out alive because of help and escaping, not any bouts he actually won.

You realize your own example says "After you beat that guy" though right? It didn't say Luffy run away and hide until we reach Cacao so you can use a mirror. It said beat him and we'll be waiting at Cacao for you. I hope you don't think that page helped your case.

How does this change anything I said? He doesn’t even know where the mirror to Cacao town is, he isn’t going to have it easy looking for it with Kata on his back either.

It’s also ironic that you show me this pic and Nami even says beat that guys ass and then find a mirror to Cacao implying that he needs to whoops his ass first and also implying he needs to find the mirror. Which lines up with what I have been saying perfectly.

Except we've seen that Cracker does indeed have the ability to stall out Gear Fourth, since even Luffy's Haki embedded punches have been unable to cause damage to Cracker.

This is some terrible LBeezy nonsense logic. For one thing, Luffy himself never directly injured Cracker. Cracker only got hurt because he was slammed into his own biscuits, and it was impacting those that damaged him. Secondly, Luffy only survived to the point that he used Tankman because he had Nami's help with softening the biscuits enough for him to eat them. Without Nami, G4 would have failed him and he would have died. Thirdly, the Tankman only got that big because of eating the biscuits, so without Nami, Luffy wouldn't have even been big enough to resist Cracker's sword and push him away.

So no, it wasn't G4 that beat Cracker, it was Nami helping Luffy.
