Good lawd, Big Mom hyped up Kaidou and then proceeded to whoop everyone's ass. Gotta give this woman some credit. Possibly the weakest Yonkou but that's obviously still saying a lot.
Loved the interaction with Stussy, De Feld and Morgans. It's always interesting to see the government having their eyes everywhere, and with a flying shigan off the bat, she seems like the real deal. We need more cp0. Can't wait to see how Judge's eyebrows will shape as well but I'm even more curious about the quote he said before Big Mom savagely wrecked him. He started referring to his people? Also, those kids of his must be learning emotions, I feel like they've been having more and more emotional reactions the last few hapters, screaming over Reiji and their dad
I always knew Big Mom's subordinates > Germa 66 clique but I didn't think they would handle them this easily. The clash between Big Mom and Luffy was epic, I loved the art in that page and on the box exploding on that note. The clash was also necessary too, she easily withstood the blow, showed her might, I also think she used some of her DF power to weaken Luffy real quick, I believe that's why Luffy made a comment about it too.
Brulee helping corner the SH's was fitting, you had to know she'd get her comeuppance at some point. Funny how we still don't really see Smoothie fight yet but she indeed helps wreck everyone lol. Now what will happen after the cake falling? It should definitely provide a diversion but escape is gonna be damn near impossible for team 2 to pull off without Sanji, Luffy and Germa 66 with BM's crew focused on them not leaving? I'm thinking someone's gotta show up. But who and why? I feel like we're not gonna know that answer for a few weeks but with the way this arc has been, I can wait. It's been a damn good one to me.

This chapter was epic Big mom shitted on Luffy and her comment about Kaido intrigued me even more about his powers, Big mom seems to respect his strength which is saying a lot coming from someone of her status. The Kaido hype is getting bigger day by day I really want to see the full extent of his strength. I want to see if its anywhwere near marineford WB. I hope Judge is alive so we get to see his eyebrows now that his helmet is removed.The Germa got destroyed by big moms crew which was expected technology can only get you so far when facing a yonkou 10/10 chapter Oda did it again.

Hahahaha bro no one blames you, we all have that one character we support no matter what. But yeah i knew Katakuri is a ****ing beast and i was aboit right about how strong they all'd be against Luffy and the others
Big Mom was a BEAAAAAST and Katakuri didn't disappoint me, for someone worth that much money it's only generous of Oda to let ichiji even touch Katakuri (without making him even flinch)

Dang! BM lived up to expectation in every sense, finally a feat that's above her 5 yr old self. BM holding Niji and Yonji like a kid holding dolls
I can only hope Luffy will get some ridiculous power up before Kaido, or he'll just get raped (again).
Katakuri's the real mvp, dude's been putting ni**as down left right. Also, Prospero's use of his fruit is becoming more and more like Mr 3.
It's weird judge was talking about what happened 300 years ago, can't shake the feeling he's been living that long.
Those of us that want CC to hang around were just given hope.
There's also Sanji looking like he didn't take any damage in the scuffle so far. This would have been a good for Ceasar to use his oxygen depletion move.
I can only hope Luffy will get some ridiculous power up before Kaido, or he'll just get raped (again).

No he didn't....he did hold off katakuri long enough so Gastino could get past....also judge's situation might have distracted Ichigi which caused him to get stomped.....we don't know why he lost so easily but that isn't the point....the point is spoilers were right....

OT: 5/5 chapter....always knew people were underestimating Big Mom....like many have said Yonkos will be Yonkos....

Since the Sunny is there, Bege's ship is there and the Vinsmoke island is still docked I have a feeling that Judge will use his kingdom as a way to stall Big Mom and her army in order give Bege and Luffy and the young Vinsmokes a chance to escape.

bro this story has like 9 more years luffy has plenty of time to best them , u really think bigmom, kaido, and blackbeard just gone let puffy become pirate king :| , he has to defeat them eventually or all this good story telling from oda would just be for naughtLove Cook/Howlett/Dannie/Other members who I'm forgetting at the moment..
It looks like you guys might just be right about Big Mom not going down this arc.. and I'm guessing that one panel of Luffy in Gear 4 clashing with Big Mom is the closest thing we're gonna get to a "Luffy vs Big Mom" this arc.. damn... even though that page was still epic af.. I was really hoping for them to fight more than that.
It's time I admit my wrongful thinking.. and officially accept what is the reality of the story now..lol

Well.... since my hopes for the plot didn't come true, I hope at least your guys' theories come true.. if not, then I truly wonder if maybe Oda will have Big Mom and Kaido still be alive while Luffy is Pirate King? Maybe they'll find some form of respect for him?? Or maybe they'll die in the final war of the series, going against the WG???

Why didnt Oda give Ichiji and Yonji any signature attacks?
Sanji has fire,Niji and Electricity and Reiju has poison.
Also it was heavily implied Ichiji has a fire based ability. Remember when Sanji fought Luffy? Ichiji was the only brother to react to Sanji's legs catching fire.

Luffy used a G4 punch against Cracker and he didn't lose power immediately, so BM did indeed absorb Luffy's punch or G4 state and that is why he said "he's losing power." At first I thought it was because he had a time limit but then I thought that was way too quick.
Also, why would Luffy want to fight Kaido first and then BM? BM's hype for Kaido makes this man even more ferocious, so they definitely need some time interval of training or something.

I'm pretty sure LBeezy was trolling with some of what he said. Ah well now that he admitted he was wrong it was nice. Rarely do people on this site accept it. Anyway the bomb going off pretty much means they are getting an opportunity to escape. How the hell Luffy is going to beat Kaido is anyones guess atm. Would be cool if Luffy, zoro and sanji fought him together and the allies took on everyone else. Unlikely though. Might be three years before we see a yonko gets taken down. BM suggested Kaido is stronger so Luffy might solo BM after getting help against Kaido.

One thing I'll say is that BM never implied that Kaido is stronger than her(we know he is though), just that he was stronger than Luffy.

the castle falls into the water where Luffy and co have the advantage with water-walking germa 66 and fishman and way less df users and a weather controller.
The arc next wont be Wano or Kaido it will be gathering forces for wano and it will be the Reiver arc where marco and the rest of thewhite beard pirates show luffy and co what yonko strength looks like.
Then they take their whole combined forces to Wano and Big mom shows up there.

I was gonna say the same thing. She called kaido a thing, but I believe she was implying he was some other than a person, very much in line with him being the strongest creature rather than the strongest man. Basically I think she is refusing to acknowledge his humanity.
Oh interesting thought, Kaido wants a crew of animal devil fruits, but what if he himself isn't a human and that is why he is immortal. Maybe he actually wants a human human fruit like choppers.
