As for Big Mom she was hyping the hell out of prometheus just last chapter and Brook managed to damage it, Big Mom looks more underwhelming each chapter, wouldn't even be surprised if Luffy takes her down this arc.

Nami KOing Chopper was funny af, but that servant sleeping in Sanji's bed had me rolling. No ****s given gone back to sleep lmao.

The most interesting thing about sanji is that all his skills are inheritly emotional. From Diablo Jambe and hells memories to his actual cooking. He can't cook but without accidentaly making it for someone else. And He can't fight without remembering how upset he was from his time in "hell"


With this big emotional blow its very safe to say that he will be a large margin stronger after this arc. Maybe a step pasted HM/DJ.

Sanji is stupid agreed on that. But Is brook better than all of BM's previous opponents? Cuz it was the first time Prometheus got hurt. If u use common sense it would seem that brook is a natural counter to BM's df.

When you're complaining about Sanji not taking action in the discussion about the chapter where Sanji is taking action, that's when you reveal once and for all you've been complaining just for the sake of it.

I'm gonna quote someone else because this basically summed up exactly what the problem with him still mopping around was.

And as for the other one, it's not the impassioned speech of his sister, the only family member who gives a damn about him, that pushes him into action. No, it's the mighty Bobbin touching Luffy's meat. The ****? What was the point in the speech? Reiju told him everything he needed to hear to snap him out his funk and he was planning on just ignoring that, letting himself die and somehow hoping that would save his crew? When he already knows Big Mom's word is worth diddly squat and does she has two off the crew in her custody? And he's refusing on the off chance that Big Mom would care at all about Zeff even if she gets her tech? And he's now pissed her off anyway. Just a really weird move by Oda to make him mope around for an extra two chapters when he'd set up this big dramatic turning point from Reiju. And speaking of her, was Sanji actually just going to be fine with her dying as well?

It was pointless and completely out of touch with what Oda had set up. People singing kumbaya and shit when Reiju had that talk and when he figured everything out, yet he does this for 2 more chapters, cementing himself as a complete waste of space this entire arc. Oda dropped the ball with this one, seeing many holes in his writing for this situation.

Just like I said to someone else, the last straw doesn't mean the biggest straw. Reiju's speech, all the events that happened before, it all got flustered up into one big mess of frustration in Sanji's head, something he's been VISIBLY struggling with the entire time and it's been getting worse and worse. Your complaints are only valid if the last straw that pushes someone over the edge has to be the biggest straw, but that's not how humans work. You can have a ton of shit frustrating you, and only go off when that one little thing finally pushes you to where you can't take it anymore. It's completely normal.

These aren't holes in writing, they're a realistic portrayal of a person. Sometimes, people just foster up a bunch of shit, and explode at the smallest of things. I know even someone as...limited...as you is aware that this happens to people. Not everyone immediately explodes, not everyone fosters shit. Sanji just happened to be the latter. I don't know why that's something that turns you into a man-baby.

Just quit your *****ing and enjoy the fact that Sanji is gonna start kicking ass. You've been so used to crying and whining like a child about Sanji accepting his situation, that now you can't stop even when he says "**** this situation," and starts fighting back.

For ****'s sake, Mr. 3's DF was holding up better against Magellan's DF than Luffy's was, but we know Luffy was wayyyy stronger than Bentham. Brook's DF very well may just have a unique interaction with Big Mom's.

You're acting like Brook killed Promotheus. All he did was give it an injury that requires a band-aid. A BAND-AID. You think it's something serious? And why are people acting like the Homies are as powerful as Big Mom? Sure, the quantity of the "soul" might be the same, but who the hell said the hat, Zeus, and Promotheus had the same stamina, speed, durability, and physical strength as Big Mom? Stop thinking so one-dimensionally in what makes a character strong. It's the same LBeezy does when he says "Luffy wins because he punches harder hur dur."

Or are we gonna start calling Whitebeard weak because something as simple as a wall could survive something generated by Devil Fruit powers?

He was literally sitting there after all that shit telling himself its fine, when he has everything infront of him, he legit said it's fine if Reiju dies. And this shows the hypocrisy. When Reiju says "Oh fight back," her word is a golden bond that should have immediately be accepted. But when Reiju says "I brought this death onto myself with my own actions," it's "**** her word, why are you okay with it happening?"

Not to mention the fact that Sanji never expressed that he was "okay" with Reiju dying, but expressed that the deaths of the Vinsmoke family would be a necessary pain to just end this situation for the Strawhats. This is the same problem as before: Sanji has two difficult, shitty situations ahead of himself to choose from, and he picked the one that seemed like the less difficult and shitty one. And you stupidly think that's the same as deciding that that situation is "good" and "wanted."
