One Piece is my fave manga, and I think it it's a lot better than most shonen. It's definitely a bit overrated though. A portion of the fandom thinks Oda can do no wrong.

Well, Luffy is more akin to Goku tbh. Their care free personalities and all.

Anyhow, the only moment that's "Nakama Power" in OP would be when Luffy gets up fighting Lucci. Other than that Luffy pretty much wins legitimately. Except maybe Crocodile, but he was saved twice. Once by Robin and once by the convenience of water falling exactly where be does.


Hype can't really be supposed to exist just becsuse of one person's opinion. It's more like the general collective of everyone.

Luffy beating Enel because Rubber>Lightning was asspull as well. Enel was new world material.
