Whether Whitebeard was stronger than Akainu

Both these translations support my claim. So there is nothing in his speech that proves if he is weaker at that point in time. He just doesn't want to tango an admiral to get a ship.

Besides that thing wasn't critical for him to be a pirate because even without that ship he became a yonkou just fine, so he DID just take another ship like it was no big deal. Shiki lost his legs and replaced them by just shoving swords in the place without missing a beat and was fine with losing his legs. It's not as big a deal as you're trying to make it out to be.

It wasn't really important at the moment either because he escaped in the moment, that still must've been a good boat.
