WJ26号（5/27発売）WJ27号（6/3発売）のONE PIECE休載について

WJ26号（5/27発売）、WJ27号（6/3発売）において作者・尾田栄一郎先生が、扁桃周囲膿瘍で入院されることとなり、ONE PIECEは休載となってしまいました。楽しみにしていただいている読者の皆様、大変申し訳ございません 。

なお、WJ26号のハガキにONE PIECEが掲載されていますが、印刷の工程上、修正が間に合いませんでした。重ねてお詫び申し上げます 。

また、WJ26号上の休載告知においては、病名が「扁桃炎」となっていますが、正確には、「扁 桃周囲膿瘍」 というものだということが分かりました。こちらが正しい病名となります。

続きはWJ28号（6/10発売）から再開予定です。これからもONE PIECEを応援の程よろしくお願いいたします。

The official website for Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced on Tuesday that Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga would be going on hiatus for the magazine's next two issues. The magazine's editors explained that the manga creator is being hospitalized for a peritonsillar abscess, a complication due to an infection frequently caused by tonsillitis. One Piece will not be serialized in the magazine issues that ship on May 27 and June 3 issues, but the manga is expected to return on June 10.

The editors also noted that One Piece will still be listed on the survey postcard in the next issue, since the postcard was already printed before Oda's hospitalization. Next Monday's issue lists "tonsilitis" as the name of the illness, but the editors clarified that "peritonsillar abscess" is the correct term. Shueisha apologized to fans who were looking forward to the next chapter, and asked them to keep supporting One Piece in the future.
