Well its been said already but well op has been here for longer so it has stood the test of time better than the have been eye candies that once were which are Naruto and bleach.

Back to OP, for ne something is interesting when stuff is propotional and we have some good unanswered questions u know the intrigue and suspense thing and when tym cimes they r resolved well and in a satisfactory fashion though in most cases one I cldnt have thiught of usually takes the cake and with Oda Im always intertained coz his stuff doesnt seem to b forced or panel bit into the story just coz we need to guve a chapter. So maybe in ten or so yrs I will hve a different answer but fkr know with every fibre in my ody I just see a better op in that tym andan aweaome one it will b for sure so yes Oda can and will b Legend with One Piece if he aint yet to you.

yea, no, it's pretty straight-forward, for a lot of ppl Naruto has simply lost the touch it had before the Pain arc ended, I've been a fan for almost 9 years, and in 4 years on this forum (and elsewhere in teh fandom) you could actually see how the fans were reacting to the war arc and how much disappointment there was

Naruto is hated because, like most stories, it rose in popularity, at least here in the west, as in, west of Japan.

I doubt you'd understand, but the same thing will happen if One Piece rises in popularity in the west. Especially if the fans continue to be the buttholes they are now. The One Piece fandom is only provoking hate upon their own manga. If the fans keep saying things like "One Piece is the best. It's better than every other manga" then it will cause hateful response from someone who disagrees. They may rebuttal with a response like "No one Piece is garbage. Togashi is better", then the person will irrationally look for a flaw in One Piece and blow it out of proportion to defend their statement and their manga.
While you're so caught up in the hype of believing One Piece is amazing, a hater induced by the One Piece fans over hype would point out a flaw that would be almost unrecognizable by a hardcore One Piece fan.
That is the stage that Naruto is in right now. Naruto was once hyped up like One Piece is now, but then people began to look at it over-critically and are constantly looking for flaws rather than optimistically reading the manga like a typical One Piece fan would. If a Naruto fan read the latest One Piece chapter, they would immediately point out the fact that Luffy threw a weak and futile punch at Doflamingo, but later throws a huge and powerful haki jet pistol at the ceiling to break out of the cave, and they'd blow it out of proportion to make it a big flaw, while a typical One Piece fan probably didn't even pay attention to that little "flaw", and if they did they, would brush it off and make no big deal.
This is just human behavior. The same thing happening to Naruto now is happening to many other series. Even Attack on Titan is receiving hate, simply because its being overhyped and "overrated". It's not a matter of being good or not, whatever Naruto presents it will be critically analyzed.
If One Piece ever becomes a widely popular series, the same thing will happen.

While I agree with this post to some degree, you gotta realize buddy One Piece has been going on for a while, and there havent been complaints to the degree of Naruto.

There are still so many things waiting to be touched on in One Piece that it can indeed last that long without any issues. These are all confirmed future story lines. Naruto doesn't receive the same hype One Piece does. I've been saying this the whole time. YOU ONLY BELIEVE ONE PIECE HAS FEW FLAWS BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT LOOKING CRITICALLY AT THE SERIES. Naruto fans are different. Naruto fans are at the point where the hype has gone down for Naruto, seeing as how it's the end of the series. Naruto fans are much more critical towards Naruto and are negative towards almost everything. If a Naruto fan read the last chapter of One Piece the same way they read Naruto, the reaction would be completely different.

A typical Naruto fan would IMMEDIATELY identify that as a flaw or bad writing. While a One Piece fan wouldn't even notice this "flaw". A Naruto fan is contrary towards everything, while a One Piece fan is so caught in the hype, they're near oblivious to all "flaws". The fans have a mindset induced by hype that "One Piece is so amazing that flaws are impossible" and, because of that, the manga is read without any critical embrace because they feel that there's nothing to criticize. One Piece might very well have just as many flaws as Naruto, it's just a matter of who is reading to acknowledge these flaws.
Even in prior discussions with you, you say Naruto has flaws without even realizing that those same flaws are prevalent in One Piece as well.

I never said Naruto tries to incorporate philosophy into the plot because that isn't true at all. Naruto simply has an underlying tone of philosophy and psychology adding a hint of realism which corresponds to real world human psych. This is no secret and is widely acknowledged by everyone who has thoroughly read Naruto.
Everything you're saying is completely subjective based on the points I've been conveying, that the disapproval is towards Naruto is a result from the contrary behavior developed from the hype the series once had. But luckily Oda has proven that he is a better mangaka than Kishi on many counts, Kishi borrowed a few elements from Togashi (putting it nicely) and made a few original arcs but he failed to set up anything for the future that's why he now has to pull almost the entire ending to Naruto out of his ass, Kishi writes a good story but he has proven that he can't handle long arcs let alone a long manga series

Naruto doesn't receive the same hype One Piece does. I've been saying this the whole time. YOU ONLY BELIEVE ONE PIECE HAS FEW FLAWS BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT LOOKING CRITICALLY AT THE SERIES. Naruto fans are different. Naruto fans are at the point where the hype has gone down for Naruto, seeing as how it's the end of the series. Naruto fans are much more critical towards Naruto and are negative towards almost everything. If a Naruto fan read the last chapter of One Piece the same way they read Naruto, the reaction would be completely different.

I do look at the series critically, how do you know that I don't? Don't tell me that you stalk me. I never said One Piece has 0 flaws, I said OP has a lot fewer flaws than Naruto. Everyone would agree to that and OP is superior to Naruto. Quit your wank to Naruto. Naruto has more flaws than One Piece.

A typical Naruto fan would IMMEDIATELY identify that as a flaw or bad writing. While a One Piece fan wouldn't even notice this "flaw". A Naruto fan is contrary towards everything, while a One Piece fan is so caught in the hype, they're near oblivious to all "flaws". The fans have a mindset induced by hype that "One Piece is so amazing that flaws are impossible" and, because of that, the manga is read without any critical embrace because they feel that there's nothing to criticize. One Piece might very well have just as many flaws as Naruto, it's just a matter of who is reading to acknowledge these flaws.
Even in prior discussions with you, you say Naruto has flaws without even realizing that those same flaws are prevalent in One Piece as well.

What? Do you have any examples of "flaws" that OP fans are oblivious to that wasn't discussed here? OP has flaws although they are minimal and they can be argued against. You've just tried to point out a flaw and you failed. =D It seems like you're desperate at this point.

But you gave naruto as an example, and all that is not true in many cases, ppl turned on naruto because it started sucking after the pain arc and ppl are annoyed by at at this point so ofc ppl complain about the stuff kishi is pulling out of his ass

But you are assuming everything that gets hype will eventually become hated which is just stupid there are plenty examples that completely ignored your theory ... They are called classics, ppl still like the greatest movie artists and ppl still like the best books

Ppl will turn on an oberhyped twilight because it sucks but something as LoTR will become a classic because it's good

If kishi didn't fk up the war arc in Naruto, if he didn't Naruto wouldn't have nearly as many haters as it does

We know full well what you are saying but we know that it's BS, the same thing will happen to OP only if Oda starts to suck as much as Kishi, only when he fks OP up as badly as Kishi fkd up Naruto

But luckily Oda has proven that he is a better mangaka than Kishi on many counts, Kishi borrowed a few elements from Togashi (putting it nicely) and made a few original arcs but he failed to set up anything for the future that's why he now has to pull almost the entire ending to Naruto out of his ass, Kishi writes a good story but he has proven that he can't handle long arcs let alone a long manga series

Kind of ironic since you failed to understand what's going on in OP. You think that Doffy blocking off Luffy's punches then Luffy busting through the well by using CoA + 3rd gear is a flaw. Remember when you barely even understood how significant Robin's goal is to the overall story? You shouldn't be talking.

You don't even see how that's a flaw. The flaw is that instead of throwing a powerful punch at Doflamingo, like elephant gun, he uses a basic pistol punch that is completely ineffective. It's a writing inconsistency. Why would you not use a stronger and effective technique against the big bad boss when he's right in front of you? Yet he can shoot a huge elephant gun at the ceiling not long after easily. A Naruto fan would pick that out and blow it out of proportion while a One Piece fan wouldn't even identify it.
