So by your logic deidara is stronger than itachi since he can fly and itachi cant..come on now. If flying makes you the strongest then the hidden stone should be the strongest village bc they can actually fly and don't need a ninja tool to do it.

Itachi unlike Sakura has long range attacks. Terrible comparison.
And only the three Tsuchikages in the stone village were shown with the ability to fly. Terrible analogy.

Sakura can't really do anything to her , but Kurotsuchi can use hiding like a mole jutsu to go underground and completely evade her wind attacks.

At the end of the day, it's all about match ups and the ability to fly isn't a instant win on that ability alone.. I agree if you have a vary arsenal of jutsu it doesn't matter if your opponent can fly ( kakashi kinds answered this whole question during the rescue gaara arc when he explained to naruto about taking on deidara and he definitely didn't say " oh he can fly so on that merit alone we have no chance" nor did he show any fear at all bc of deidara ability to fly
