Tailed Beast Abilities Examples.
Garra No Shukaku
Ablity: Controls Sand
Elemental Affinity: Earth and Wind
Powers: As Shukaku's jinchūriki, Gaara has the ability to move and levitate sand at will. In addition, Shukaku protects him at all times with the Shield of Sand, regardless of his will (even self-inflicted injuries are prevented by the sand).
Shukaku doesn't have an unnaturally large supply of chakra that Gaara can use. Instead, Shukaku's presence inside Gaara allows him to manipulate sand at will. As an added bonus for Gaara, Shukaku itself can move the sand on its own to protect Gaara from any harm it can in order to preserve its own life. It should be noted that, unlike Naruto's constant battle for control over his body with the Nine-Tails, Gaara is technically never subjugated to this.
Sphere of Sand.
Gaara surrounds himself with his Shield of Sand to guard against attacks. He then uses the Third Eye to watch his opponents' movements and control sand as necessary to battle them. In addition to being extremely dense, this sand-sphere can form spikes from its surface to spear any would-be attacker. Gaara can also use this technique to shield himself from his opponent long enough to perform his transformation into the One-Tailed Shukaku. (Not Needed to transform)
Half Shukaku Form -Tv1
In this form the gourd on his back slowly breaks down and begins to cover his body, covering his arms, and then his face distorting it and giving it Shukaku's features such as the yellow eye and markings, he even grows his one tail from the gourd which itself functions like a normal tail. In this form, his speed has increased. He can use the sand on his arms to stretch his limbs to extraordinary lengths. This form allows him to even fire off his limbs at will, but still have them remain under his control
Miniature Shukaku Form- Tv2
He can use Shukaku's wind element as he could now use the Wind Release: Infinite Sand Cloud Great Breakthrough. His speed, attack, and defense greatly rises. In addition much like Naruto's chakra shield, the sand is capable of absorbing a wide variety of attacks. However, the defense given to his body still has one weak spot. Since his lower half is not covered, as seen by Naruto, a small explosion beneath his tail can make the entire sand form crumble, and fall apart
Full Shukaku Form
Technically this isn't a jinchūriki form as its a transformation into Shukaku itself. In desperate situations, Gaara would instantly create a giant copy of Shukaku with himself hidden inside. While he is awake, Gaara still has control of Shukaku's body and can fight "normally" with it. While in this form, Gaara transfers his eyesight to that of Shukaku's body in turn resulting in his own eyes losing their pupils.
When Gaara needs Shukaku's full power, he would expose his upper body on top of Shukaku's head and use the Feigning Sleep Technique, which allows Shukaku to take full control over its body.
Yugito No Nibi
Abilty: Spectral Fire, PyroKineses
Element: Fire, Spectral Fire
Powers: While transformed, Yugito is completely covered by the chakra of her tailed beast. In this form, her chakra takes the form of a blue flamed two-tailed cat with no pupils in her eyes. With chakra emanating from out of her, she will hunch over and the Two-Tails itself will materialize. Though small compared to tailed beast forms of other jinchūriki, the Two-Tails still proves a threat. In this form, Yugito is able to emit fiery spectral blasts from the monster cat's mouth. These blasts are very destructive and when coupled with the Two-Tails' strength, the surrounding area can be reduced to rubble.
Tailed Version 1
Yugito is completely covered by the chakra of her tailed beast. a Blue Fire. She Can then control Fire.
Tailed Version 2.

Yagura No Sanbi
Ability: High-speed swimming, Hallucegenic Mist.
Elemental Affinity: Water,
Powers: By Forcing its Chakra into a Water Source it Can Produce a 360 degree Tidal Wave.
it could roar to repel attacks; it could produce a large tidal wave that spread away from it in all directions; it could strike with any of its three spiked tails to break through most defenses. Its skin was resistant to attack in a similar fashion.
Of the beast's more specialized abilities, it could produce a hallucinogenic mist that exploited the victim's insecurities and forced the victim to face them. It could also shoot white, Menacing Ball-like shockwaves. When it swallowed something, thousands of "mini-clones" of itself would attack what it had eaten within its gut, presumably to facilitate digestion.

Full Bijuu Mode:
. The Three-Tails was depicted as having no hind-legs, with only a pair of fore-legs and its three distinctive tails. Its right eye was constantly closed, indicating some sort of injury. Because of this, it was particularly vulnerable to attacks directed at its left eye. The Three-Tailed Giant Turtle Can Fire Two Chakra Blast to Cause a Shockwave.
