Yosh!
Consuella says, while being shaken, pulling a fist at her chin's height and looking dramatically into the horizon.
In her mind, there was a whole ocean with a setting sun, while waves splashed all around her and a choir of angels sang in the background.
Alright, for the lightning part. Imagine this
Consuella says, pulling from her friend and materializing a piece of paper and a pencil.
We built a cereal based pastry ball, with a thin and crunchy layer. We do it in two halves, so we have access to the insides. Then we place two sealing inscriptions on the inside of the pastry ball, with a very thin blade. The first will be a container sealing, which will check if the two halves (basically a container) are opened or not. The second will take the output of that inscription and release a tiny burst of lightning.
While speaking, she draws two half-spheres, empty, and an arrow pointing to either one, in the first drawing the kanji for "Hermes' Reply, by Mandy" and in the second drawing the kaniji for "Master Element Seal, by Scorps", scribbled above both arrows.
Then we make a sweet warm custard made of various sweet recipes, especially chocolate and pour it on the balls, then closing the balls. As the fillings in contact with the air harden, they will seal the pastry balls. Which will activate the fuuin inside. When someone bites the balls, it will count as "opening the container" and will trigger Herme's Reply, which, in turn, will trigger the Master Element Seal, infusing a tiny bit of lightning into the custard and the opponent's tongue.
Everything is illustrated with scribbled mouths, with overly detailed long loses and hairy mustaches, some filling the balls with custard, some sealing them in a ball shape, someone bitting into one, lightning being released.
You know how pouring a bit of salt on chocolate makes it taste even better. That's because salt activates the gustatory cells on the tongue, and allow you to take a greater input of flavor. This is what the lightning will recreate, except better and purer. The numbing comes after the slight overdose of flavor, balancing it out so that it's surprisingly great without being overpowering!
