That was done by black people although white artist was an outlet to the white population. It probably would not be as big if it was for that.

No, i was actually just replying to the new topic adam started. And like i said no one cares who started anything, only those who popularized it and the statement i'd say is 100% true. Music terms, we have rock and they have hip hop, we technically didn't steal anything really. The genre of rock between Chuck and The Beatles and so on are pretty different, enough to say i suppose we did technically start it i suppose. But what i assume the grand comment (white people stealing black culture) is about are these wannabe white thugs, i mean... lets be real here... who likes them? We don't either so. I see white people trying to act black and i'm rather embarrassed to be honest, they're the ones stealing culture not us.

The mainstream white race and black race listen to a few singular genres, that being rock for white and or hip hop for black. Asians listen to that kpop, yada yada. I mean, am i wrong to say most white people listen to rock, most black people listen to hip hop, and most asians listen to kpop? 80% of the time when you go up to someone and ask what genre of music they like (depending on the region) they'll most likely say these things, after all they popularized those genres themselves.

smh, i literally make a living making music. if your family has done a lot for music you should know things you dont. like comparing The Beatles a band who gained popularity making pop music, like, "I want to hold you hand", to Chuck Berry rock n roll and wondering why they are so different, smh. infact The Beatles have stated a lot that earlier albums and a lot of the blues elements they used on albums like Revolver, were influenced by black people
