I think it's more like Naruto heaven is based on trash principles, because Obito murdered everyone's dad and mom on that field (including Neji) and was allowed a free pass to heaven and a girl on the side.

Don't quite agree with the central topic though. Naruto had to work insanely hard to become what he is. Destiny had nothing to do with his choice to put everything he has into becoming stronger. Had he not trained so hard, he couldn't have even overcame Kyuubi.

Kishi had to kill him off cause if he's alive that will clearly exposes the BS that Naruto had to go through attain some powerups due to prophecy. And if Kishi draw a panel of Neji sometime before/after Sage of 6th path power boost, Kishi would screw himself to the corner thats why he got rid of him like like around 50 chapters beforehand to make people forgot.
However if that's his game, Kishi clearly underestimate our intelligence!

Well, Naruto might have been born lucky, but at the same time for the longest time the Kyuubi did nothing but to hold him down, not to mention that he had almost to no one to support him in his goals, so it can still be argued that Naruto didn't quite have an easy path to glory either

He was born Ashura's transmigrant & the "child of prophecy" what he achieved was nothing short of destiny.

The kyuubi had a duel relationship with Naruto. He prevented some aspects of Naruto but at the same time he clearly boosted Naruto. For example, Naruto could spam shadow clones, summon Gambunta, turn Gambunta into a copy of the Kyuubi, defeat people like Neji and Haku etc. because of the kyuubi. So I wouldn't say it did nothing but hold him back.

Yeah, but take the Kyuubi off him and you have a prodigy at an early age. Everything Naruto has learned afterwards shows that he is just as much of a genius of hard work as Rock Lee, and without the Kyuubi, there are still those massive Uzumaki reserves to take into account. It is hard to discuss what would've happened if Naruto didn't have the Kyuubi, since that would put him in another team entirely, but you have to admit that while probably far less powerful, Naruto would have ended up having far more to offer than just Shadow Clones and Rasengan.

You are not thinking straight. Neji protected hinata which mean he died for the Main Family so it doesn't matter if it was his choice when it was apart of destiny.
If Neji protected someone else other than hinata that might've been a different story.

the end result being neji's death REGARDLESS of who he died for is the product of fake destiny...the end result would be the same no matter who he died for...ps he jumped in front of both hinata AND naruto...not just hinata

The choice therein nullifies destiny. Naruto defied every odd and achieved his dreams through persistence and unifying the world. The Bijuu, as Kishimoto said, existed to give the story some real-world relevance a la nuclear war possibilities. It's clear he was making it up as he went toward the end, but the thematics are there and it take some delving below the surface and introspection in one believes in order to piece it together.
