Alright, before we begin, I need to know everything about you xD.

Tell me your current training status, your favourite element(s), your special abilities, any customs you have, bios you wish to acquire, summoning contracts and etc. Anything and everything is relevant.

Okay to start I am currently training:
Doton under Scorps[D-rank so far]
Katon under Reborn[Just started]
Futon under Hayate Gekko[Almost to B-rank]
Suiton under Gitanshu[Almost at B-rank]
Raiton under Nathan.[Just started A-rank]
Sabaku under Typhon[He trains differently so I have learned jutsu's from every rank]
Taijutsu under Lore(Coyote) [Just started not long ago]
Ninjutsu under Adachi[He started but is busy with exams so not much training.]

I have a Gaara bio( ) approved, but until I finish sand training it is about useless.
My other bio is a Inuyasha Hyuga bio( ) still waiting on approval.

I have a Custom Weapon I'm waiting on approval for, it's a sword. It's mostly for my Inuyasha bio.
Tessaiga鉄砕牙
Type: Weapon
Rank: S Rank
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 60
Damage: N/A
Description: At first glance when not in use, the Tessaiga appears to be nothing more than a battered katana with a heavily chipped and rusted blade with the hilt's fabric tearing away. When wielded by SandCoffin the blade transforms. When transformed, the blade turns into an over-sized dog's fang.

Abilities:
  • Fūton | Wind Style: Wind Scar - The user swings Tessaiga in a downward slash, sending an A-rank gust of wind capable of blowing away and slicing anything in its path up to mid-range.
  • Fūton | Wind Style: Backlash Wave - The user swings Tessaiga in a diagonal ark, causing the blade to release a 12foot wave in front of them strong enough to block jutsus or throw away anything within short-range.
Restrictions:
  • No other fūton jutsu can be used in the same turn as ether Wind Scar or Backlash Wave.
  • Wind Scar and Backlash Wave cannot be used in the same turn.
  • No S ranked fūton jutsu can be used in the turn following the use of Wind Scar or Backlash Wave.
  • Backlash Wave can only defend against jutsus up to A-rank.
  • If Backlash wave is used to blow back the opponent it is only B-rank wave.
  • Wind Scar can only be used 2 times per battle.
  • Backlash Wave can only be used 3 times per battle.
  • The blades abilities count towards the move count.
  • While the blade is unsheathed an held in hand, no fūton jutsu may be used.
  • Only Gaara an those allowed by him may wield the blade.

I haven't been fortunate enough to be allowed to sign a summon contract of anyones.
I haven't been taught anyones custom jutsu's, though Aizen said he intends to teach me all his sand customs when I finish training.

I would say my favorite elements so far are Sand, Water, and Wind.

Seems like you're progressing through training at a good rate. As for the CW, you could honestly make some with more potential. Elemental blasting weapons are rarely approved (since they've been done so much) and because they completely lack originality. Once we get onto the CJ making stage of this training, i'll show you what I mean.

Alright, I've figured out how we're going to do this. I remember learning from Cobalt the same way, though I'll make slight changes to his method.

I've split our training into the following categories, tell me what you wish to start with.

Categories:
-Elemental combinations
-Logistics of a battle
-Countering/Releasing Genjutsu
-Freeform Taijutsu and Kenjutsu
-Making custom techniques
-Using summons and clones
-Battling types and characteristics
-Taking advantage of the terrain

I like my CW >.< I thought it was pretty good for my first draft/attempt at one. I'm sure it could be better though.

Thanks, Ive only been into the NB rp world for about a month now. It took me about 2weeks to get all my teachers so I'm trying to progress through all the elements as fast as possible. I don't want to be taking a year or longer just to get basic 5 mastered. I seem to be doing good with the training.

I think I'd like to start with -Battling types and characteristics. Seems like a good start.

Sure, the four basic battle types are as follows.

-Close Combat (includes hand to hand, melee elemental techniques such as chidori, low rank genjutsu and weapon use. Requires speed and agility. Speed because you're so close to your opponent that making hand seals or moving to produce a technique that involves large chakra molding will leave you open, so techniques that are smaller, faster and denser and that which no hand seal is needed, are the choice, thus speed. Agility because things in close combat happen fast and you need both physical and mental agility to react)

-Ranged combat (involves generally Wind, Lightning and Fire projectile techniques that are fast and easy to perform and involves clones/summonings to get the upper hand generally. Its the most easiest of all styles but also the one that lacks the most defensive, supplementary and offensive skills. Its basically "the safe method" as you don't expose too much of yourself and still are able to keep attacking)

-Elemental Mayhem/Battleground transformation (one of my favorites. You use large, slow techniques to alter your battlefield and basically use size and volume to overpower your enemy. Main elements are Water and Earth (depending on the battleground) combined with ranged large Fire and Wind techniques. You repeatedly destroy and keep the battleground changing and trapping your enemy while hitting him with large, wide ranged elemental techniques. A most vicious type of battle because larger techniques make for larger mistakes on defenses. However, its also very prone to technicalities. Large A-Rank, S-rank and Forbidden Rank techniques always come with restrictions so at each use you are limiting yourself and keep restricting your next possible moves, leaving you prone to mistakes. Also, because you are creating and altering so much and manipulating such large volumes of elements, you may blind your enemy and confuse him...but it may also work on the same way towards yourself. KG elements such as Wood and Lava are excellent for this method)

-Guerrilla warfare (another good tactic but that needs careful usage. Genjutsu and "stealth" are used to the maximum extent. You camouflage your real actions with powerful illusions, messing your enemies senses to strike unnoticed and without a chance for counters. It falls generally more into short range but can also be effective at mid range. However, because your efforts are in illusions, you will lack the power to actually endure a powerful elemental spammer, specially if he has a doijutsu or sensory abilities or even if he's very very experienced.)

Credits go to Scorps for creating these and credit to -Cobalt- for teaching me these xD.

1) Which of these battle type(s) do you feel you currently fall into ?
2) Which of these battle types do you wish to fall into ?
3) Which of them are your strengths ?
4) Which of them are your weaknesses ?
5) Which of them do you find difficulty in countering ?

1) I would say since, I use a Gaara bio I fall under the Ranged Combat.
2) For now I'm happy with Ranged Combat til I get another approved bio, that gives me the ability to try something new.
3) Of course with a Gaara bio, my strength lies in Ranged combat or just not allowing my enemy to get close at all.
4) I suppose, genjutsu battles or close range would be my weakness.
5) I honestly have only had one battle and it is ongoing so I don't think I can determine what I have difficulty in countering yet.
