Le Vote...

Alright, this was a ridiculously long debate to read, but ultimately, one of you convinced me... I’ll give both teams some feedback, then I’ll give my verdict.

Solo, you had a good opening post, showing how Sasuke’s Susano’o would render most of Naruto’s arsenal useless, and using Kirin as a finishing move.

Kidgamer, I think you had a great argument, effectively proving how Susano’o isn’t as easy to penetrate as they thought, while I think comparing FRS to Kirin isn’t very reliable, I do think this was a great argument.

Blaze, I didn’t see how Sasuke using Amaterasu to counter FRS would benefit him, since it would still be heading his way, actually putting himself in danger. You showed very well how Susano’o arrow is just too fast for Naruto to counter, however you claimed that Food Cart Destroyer wouldn’t deal enough damage if it wasn’t used from high enough, I think the pure mass of a toad ( such as Hiro ) would be sufficient to temporarily incapacitate Sasuke.

And about your argument that Sasuke would release Kurama’s power, I’d have to disagree, since Sasuke already witnessed Kurama going apeshit in the VOTE, and especially since Sasuke can’t distinguish clones, he really risks putting himself in further danger.

Shikamaru, I disagree with you that Sasuke wouldn’t use complete Susano’o from the start, Sasuke didn’t hesitate to use Susano’o and Amaterasu right off the bat in his fight with Danzo, as team Susano’o demonstrated. You also put a lot of emphasis on Sasuke’s exhaustion, even claiming that hitting summons with Amaterasu is bad for Sasuke, while it would certainly get rid of the summons. I like your double FRS strategy that has a very good chance of actually getting Sasuke.

Johnnyindigo, you finally prove how FRS can in fact harm Susano’o and can be used by Naruto as a gamechanger, effectively backing up Shikamaru’s argument. The rest was basically repeating what your teammates already said, not a long post, but a good one.

Frikid, you were the first one to mention Naruto can replenish SM, which basically makes FRS spammable. Regardless of Naruto’s intel, I doubt he’d be able to stop Kirin, since Dragon Flame tech is practically unstoppable once it’s fired, nature will do the rest.

I’m not going into a lot of detail, since your post was ridiculously long, but you were basically wrong about many things. For exempel, I don’t see any way how hawks can’t fly properly during rain, or how Gaara’s sand broke through Madara’s Susano’o while he really just used the sand at his feet to drag him out.

Near the end you propose a scenario where 900 clones attack Sasuke simultaneously, while I assume they’ll be using some form of Rasengan, which is a melee move, 900 Naruto’s can not simultaneously attack Sasuke, they would just end up buying time for Kirin to form.

I haven’t mentioned this yet, because I wanted to save it for last...

I’ve been in this situation myself as well, in the precieus tourney.
I’m personally siding with Susano’o here, Naruto can not summon Ma and Pa.

Summoning these two requires a long ritual of keeping your hands together in order to summon them, not to mention once the ritual was complete, Jiraiya was already fused with the sages, something Naruto can not do.

Furthermore, Naruto has never summoned these two on-panel, and we’ve never had any indication that Naruto had recieved training for it, regardless of the fact that Fukusaku tried to merge with Naruto.

Susano’o, you really exploited how Amaterasu would benefit Sasuke against Naruto’s fighting style and you came with Kirin right off the bat, Sasuke’s Susano’o would keep him well protected against even Naruto’s strongest Rasengan variants.

DOT, you proved how Naruto had a near infinite supply of Senjutsu chakra, and therefore was able to spam his arsenaal to pressure Sasuke, and taking advantage of his limited chakra and eyesight.

However, you never truly countered Kirin, which was what team Susano’o started with, you instead focused on making the match last in order to exhaust Sasuke, and take him down using Naruto’s durability. You also put a lot of emphasis on Ma and Pa, who turned out, weren’t part of Naruto’s arsenal after all.

Which is why I give my vote to team Susano’o.

Where does it say you have too? It jus tsays it takes the place of blood contract & you think Naruto can't while blood under his eyes? Which is irrelavant. It never said it was neccesary to use it in such a way.

@Gakido Summoning the two sages requires a special ritual that, as far as we know, Naruto does not know of.

The ritual your speaking of was Jiriaya gathering Senjutsu chakra, shading under his eyes would allow him to summon the sages without having to move. Neccesary because he would have turn to stone if he had done so.

Even if we assume your correct, Ma and Pa would have surely told Naruto about any special requirments to summoning them in the time he spent with them. Especially when they were summoing Naruto.

1. No, gathering Senjutsu chakra requires the user to stay completely still, Jiraiya was able to move around while only keeping his hands tied together, which means he wasn't gathering Senjutsu chakra, but instead summoning the two sages ( which Jiraiya even mentioned he was doing ) in order to automaticaly sustain SM for him.

2. "Would have surely" means nothing if we haven't seen it on-panel.

Furthermore, even if Naruto were to know the ritual, it would still take longer than the Kirin preparation, so it wouldn't have made a difference.
