Beginning with Ryuusa Bakuryuu is a futile attempt given the objective of the combatants as it is only a technique used to give him a geographical advantage and even if further enforced with it is still futile given the defense capabilities of Doton: Domu.

Hardly. Ryūsa Bakuryū will allow Gaara to dominate proceedings given the territorial advantage that the technique creates. It'll not only increase the volume of sand at the Kazekage's disposal, but also allow Gaara to more freely make use of his other abilities, such as Suna no Kanchi [ ]. Controlling the environment takes away Kakuzu's element of surprise (which is lessened further by the more plane landscape, as Ryūsa Bakuryū does indeed displace standing structures like trees [ ]) as anything which comes into contact with the sand can constantly be tracked.

Doton: Domu restricts Kakuzu's movements greatly, so using it doesn't give him a means of overcoming his problem in the long term. Sure, he'll survive being crushed in the short term, but given his inability to properly move when in this state, he'll still remain trapped in the Kazekage's sand. He won't be able to engage Gaara, nor will he be able to ambush the latter as Gaara is aware of whether or not a target has been crushed [ ].

Gaara continually using shock waves through the sand would amount to nothing but a waste of chakra and once over, Kakauzu can easily resurface given his bodily construction. Ryuusa Bakuryuu projects from Gaara's standing point meaning that there will also be trees and solid earth directly behind [given the location] and the claim that the technique 'clears forestry from the area' is actually as the trees were fractured for the most part; leaving an opening for hidden surprises such as attacking from underground as Kimimaro.

Gaara won't need to continually send pulses through his sand if he's alerted to the fact that Sabaku Taisō was unsuccessful at the first attempt. His fighting style doesn't consist of irrational plays [ ]. If Kakuzu chooses to resurface, he must deactivate Doton: Domu, which, of course, makes him vulnerable to Gaara's assaults. It doesn't seem like he's able to release his threads when in a hardened state either, as his skin seems to seal itself shut, preventing anything from escaping from the inside [ ][ ]. Even in part I, Gaara was able to level the majority of the battlefield, and most of the obstructions, such as trees, were indeed displaced. If you consider the increase in scale of Gaara's Jutsu as he's progressed from part I to part II [ ], then it becomes apparent that Ryūsa Bakuryū only serves in aiding Gaara's cause and limiting how effectively Kakuzu can make use of guerrilla tactics.

Being able to tell whether Kakauzu is alive of not through sand sensory and being 'intellectual' aren't counters for Kakuzu defense but rather qualities of both Gaara and his sand.

But they do help prevent Gaara from putting himself at risk - which makes Kakuzu's efforts all the more futile.

Sand, as stated prior are simply earthed elements manipulated by chakra and is weak against Raiton based offences. Rikiri hailed as the lightening cutter [technique which once easily breached Gaara's defenses], was almost over powered by Kakuzu's raiton as Kakashi suffered injury [indicating the superior of the two] and will no doubt do justice to Gaara's sand shield.

The face-off between Raikiri and Raiton: Gian doesn't give any indication of the latter being able to breach the best of Gaara's defences, particularly if one is looking for some sort of idea regarding piercing power. Gian simply doesn't have the feats which suggest that it can penetrate quantities of sand reaching these scales [ ][ ].

The melting point of sand [quartz] is some 1710ºC and even if entirely composed of other soil aggregates; it's melting point is still vastly inferior to the high temperatures of lightening being some 30,000ºC and highlights the reasoning behind Raiton being the perfect opposition for Doton; leaving high possibilities for Raiton: Gian to easily breach Gaara's immediate defenses, frying him in the process. The intent of this match is to kill the opponent and as such is a great disadvantage to Gaara as his methods of execution revolve solely around crushing the opponent with sand; something Kakuzu's defenses, specifically a varied yet distinct form of diamond completely negates.

I could give you many examples of instances in this manga where real life physics have been contradicted, because Raiton techniques for example (which you claim to hit such high temperatures), have been shown to not burn or cause an eruption of flames when in contact with burnable materials such as wood or human flesh [ ][ ]. There was no real indication that Sasuke's Chidori caused any sort of noticeable melting when it came into contact with Gaara's sand [ ]. Furthermore, the black flames which, although clear hyperbole, are supposedly 'as hot as the sun', didn't ruin Gaara's sand [ ]. This, in addition to Gian's less than impressive piercing feats, suggests that Gaara's more meaty defences will not be bested by such a technique.

The sand has already been easily anticipated and avoided on foot [ -> -> ] By two persons having a 4.5 for speed and given Kakuzu's feats in as well as a 4.0 for speed; would be able to do similarly as well as react to any possible attacks Gaara may bring forth which includes the first move whether it be Suna Shigure or Ryuusa Bakuryuu.

And yet, we can clearly see Gaara's sand being successful in its attempts at seizing the opponent [ ] or preventing a team mate from sustaining a serious injury [ ][ ]. And in all the examples given, each combatant had a speed equal to or greater than 4.0 (except Ē, although we know where he stands with regards movement speed) - pretty much all of them were seemingly 'quicker' than Kakuzu, and were still caught or intercepted by the Godaime Kazekage's sand. We can also see him grabbing the Sandaime Raikage (who was known for his speed) [ ] and defending against Sasuke's Enton [ ], which of course, isn't slow by any means.

Kakuzu cannot be caught from below via similar means as not only does the jutsu not prevent Kakuzu from moving [only the hardened portion] but may provide a full bodily defense on contact with any sand as:

You must be registered for see images

Meaning the claims that Kakuzu will be completely incapacitated at any use of the technique are untrue.

If Kakuzu wishes to protect himself from any of Gaara's omnidirectional attacks, he will need to harden his entire body. It will, essentially, incapacitate him. Given the environmental advantage the Kazekage is sure to possess, Kakuzu will find it more and more difficult to impose his preferred fighting style, since he is far more likely to spend the majority of his time on the defensive. Whilst Gaara's sand allows him to attack and defend simultaneously, Kakuzu doesn't benefit from such versatility. If he chooses to bring out his most famed defensive technique, he severely limits how well he can put Gaara on the back foot. The Kazekage has more options. He can play the waiting game if needs be.

Fresco, It is more than likely also given his age and experience through the years that Kakazu would be knowledgeable of the fact that Sunagakure is the village of the Land of Wind and with an intelligent mind as his, would be forming the stated premises; that Gaara has a wind-based affinity which may possibly manipulate the material situated inside the gourd. If Gaara takes to the skies he will only be met with assaults from the other hearts.

Such a deduction may not prove wholly useful, as the techniques Kakuzu has at his disposal can still be dealt with by Gaara's defences. The Kazekage will surely identify the abilities of each individual mask, at which point he can act accordingly - such as rapidly subduing them with large quantities of sand (and then crushing them) or isolating the ones he feels pose the biggest threats.

Gaara'll be able to quite comfortably fight from an aerial standpoint. Even in the air, the hearts can still be crushed if they are caught by the Godaime's sand [ ]. He could also resort to Suna Arare [ ] in an attempt to knock the hearts from the skies.

Kakashi's feats against Futon: Atsugai were solely due to the to anticipate attacks; as for a Gaara not wielding any doujutsu and a stationary fighter the same cannot be said. The destructive force of this fuuton would no doubt cause Gaara to play defense, leaving him open for alternate or combined assaults.

Kakashi doesn't possess an absolute defence, so his means of avoiding or overcoming Futon: Atsugai isn't the same as the one which Gaara must adopt. Gaara doesn't need to benefit from the Sharingan's ocular powers when he can quite quickly encase himself in a defence consisting of layers upon layers of solid, hard sand. Playing defensive isn't an issue for Gaara, because with the versatile nature of his sand, he can switch to an offensive state near instantly. The same cannot be said for Kakuzu, unfortunately.

As regards part 1 Gaara, he could have suffered a fatal wound if Chidori was . Bringing the Raiton no Yoroi argument is a rather weak attempt to say that Gaara's sand would defend against Raiton: Gian as the voltage carried by the Raiton no Yoroi is is harmless as those who have come in direct contact with it suffered no damage from the raiton itself, Onooki mounting Ay is the greatest example. If you had some rudimentary understanding of the chakra flow you would know that it is only the user shrouding their body in a layer of lightning chakra that, not to be used as an offence or def but to electrically stimulate the nervous system; thus amplifying taijutsu.

Even if what has been said about the Raikage is dismissed, the fact remains that Raiton Gian doesn't have piercing feats which will enable Kakuzu to land a critical blow on Gaara.

On the other hand, the same obviously cannot be said for Chidori, Raikiri or Raiton: Gian as they are used as concentrated offences of Raiton chakra and are at a much higher voltage. Sasuke scratching Ay with chidori and Raiton: Gian injuring Kakashi through the lightening cutter testify to that fact. Earth [which sand is apart of] is weak against lightening, that is a canonical, yet critical fact that cannot be ignored or underestimated as it has been highlighted on more than one occasion.

Even with a reference to data highlighted in canon, the fact remains that the technique must still be strong enough to breach or best the element or force which it is up against. That is to say, there is no certainty in a small D-Rank Suiton defeating a large, A-Rank Katon. Gian simply isn't backed by feats in this case. Suggesting that the technique will be able to tear through the Crème de la Crème of Gaara's defences indicates a major underestimation of his abilities [ ], or a frightening overestimation of Kakuzu's.

The at which Kakuzu can protect himself with Domu is evidently quicker than it would take Gaara to completely cover and crush Kakuzu with sand. You still haven't stated how Gaara kills Kakauzu, which actually is an impossibility as not only does Kakuzu have higher chakra reserves but the perfect counter to Gaara's sand, being Raiton.

Gaara defeats Kakuzu by crushing each and every heart; that much is apparent. The only thing in question here is; how long will it take? Because Doton: Domu is Kakuzu's only real solution to being totally squished, and in this state, Kakuzu poses practically no threat to the Godaime. If Kakuzu wants to win, he'll need to make himself vulnerable. And unlike his foe, he can't drive on the offensive and protect himself in the same instance. Gaara can also resort to Suna Bunshin feints in an attempt to deceive or mislead Kakuzu into leaving himself susceptible to a damaging blow. This is also another way of overcoming Raiton: Gian, if standard tanking isn't already an obvious counter.

Rolling forward: After Kakuzu easily evades Garra's attempts through defenses and strategical thinking he uses Jiongu and releases the lightning, fire, and wind masks; beginning a barrage of assaults on Gaara, yet timed correctly to fill voided intermissions yet occasionally attack simultaneously to increase its power and flexibility of attacks.

We've already discussed how Jiongu won't prove to be useful in this scenario when Gaara's Sand Sensing abilities are considered. It really does put him in a poor position, because he won't be able to effectively defend against Gaara's techniques. He could choose to concentrate his efforts on laying siege to the Kazekage's defences, but a lack of self awareness will only put him at risk of being seized by Gaara's sand, which will more than likely be occupying the majority of the landscape (after Ryūsa Bakuryū is used).

Gaara would be solely focused defending against assaults, in which he will ultimately fail given Raiton. As he control's his hearts with mere thought it still leaves options for Kakuzu to travel beneath ground enforcing Doton: Domu assaults on Garra from either behind the scope of Ryuusa Bakuryuu or directly beneath, resulting in critical injury as Gaara's only defenses would be occupied.

Feats are simply not on Kakuzu's side. His techniques will never be able to breach Gaara's sand, given what he's be shown to defend against [ ][ ][ ]. Kakuzu's Domu prevents him from being a threat to Gaara, and his threads cannot bypass his Sand Sensing ability. In fact, there seems to be some contradictions in your team's strategy. If Domu, as Varrah claims, is to be used to tank & observe aerial attacks such as Suna Arare or Suna Shigure, how, in his immobile state, does Kakuzu plan on avoiding the sand arms which so easily captured the Edo Kage? Remembering, of course, that Mū only avoided it because of his sensing abilities [ ]. Your initial argument emphasised the approach Kakuzu would take, but then went on to describe another - I sense a lack of continuity here.

Ultimately, it is Gaara who will benefit from the landscape. Gaara who can constantly follow Kakuzu's movements; Gaara who can easily swap between both attack and defence. He can control the land whilst patrolling the sky. The sheer scale and versatility of the Godaime's abilities are what will allow him overcome this particular foe.

"I'm going to start by covering how Gaara would undoubtedly start this match..and that is with the use of Ryuusa Bakuryuu......#1 – As we went over at the beginning, Gaara is going to absolutely smother the battlefield in sand and turn it in to a mini-desert."

Our hearts can/will FLY, so this argument is quite weak... I will further elaborate in my closing arguement... explaining why wasting chakra in this manner will ultimately give Kakazu the advantage... in chakra endurance.

"If Kakuzu wishes to use Doton: Domu to protect himself from getting crushed by something like Sabaku Taiso, that's fine. But he'll have to keep his entire body cloaked in Doton: Domu, and he'll be unable to move."

I am so glad you are so cocky in underestimating Kakazu. You make one SERIOUS mistake about Kakazu... He definately has the ability to move (through his threads) once his skin hardens. And with Kakazu's intelligence, this could be your downfall. If you look at the mangas below:

Manga 326, pg. 9
Manga 336, pg. 5

Please notice the structure of Kakazu's body. Did you see it...? HIS BODY IS IN PIECES... not a "solid" body of skin like normal humans. He actually has the strings CONNECTING HIS JOINTS... even if Kakazu hardens his skin, since his skin is not connected at the joints, he could easily seperate his hardened body at the joints with his strings! Even this is not needed... there are literally HOLES in his skin in which his strings can move through at any moment! If that's not convincing enough... to end all arguement, honestly all he needs to do is leave his mouth open while hardening his skin, b/c s we see below he can even have the threads come through his MOUTH...

Manga 337, pg. 14

...Assuming he cannot move while his skin is hardened leaves Gaara open for a sneak attack, inevidably.

"Gaara will be able to sense if Kakuzu were to ever try to attack from underground using the technique, like he did here to escape Shikamaru's shadow bind...#3 – It'll also allow him the ability to always be aware of Kakuzu's location through the use of Suna no Kanchi which was capable of tracking the legendary Mu..."

LMAO Please stop acting like Gaara can automatically sense everything moving in sand at all times. That sand you comment on above when tracking Mu was specialized sand called "sensor sand"... if Gaara was able to sense movement in any sand he would have IMMEDIATELY found Mu the moment he started walking on sand in general:

Manga 524, pg. 16

Do you even remember how Gaara died...? He died b/c there was clay mixed in with his sand, which he was not able to detect in a timely fashion--He obviously did not even notice it until the last moment when it was too late:

Manga 249, pg. 16

Not proof enough you say...? How about the Mizukage's BIG @$$ CLAM that was hiding in the sand... how many CHAPTERS did it take for Gaara to search for this extremely large entity in the sand before he finally found it?!?

Manga 556, pg. 3

PLEASE STOP ACTING LIKE HE IS SOME SORT OF A-RANKED SENSOR. Without previous knowledge of all Kakazu's abilites, he could easily plan a sneak attack with his arm in the sand as he did against Shikamaru. Hmmph.

"and his sand will keep Kakuzu from using his “threads”(if he were to fuse with his masks) to send him high in the air"

This is actually quite the opposite. My teammate WALTZ has already posted a manga of this sand technique being used, and it is quite obvious that the trees are still poking up through the sand. Kakazu can use his threads to "stand" on top of the trees instead of the sand... but since his hearts can fly, this is not even needed. But seeing that the trees are still standing up while buried in the sand, he could utilize threads to grab trees and pull his way up through the sand if he ever found himself caught under sand for any reason.

#2 – Once that wave of sand has hit, again as we covered, he can just smash Kakuzu and his masks with Sabaku Taiso....#3 – He's capable of trapping Kakuzu and his masks in large quantities of sand and could crush them with that through Sabaku SoSo.

Kakazu's masks FLY. That regular sand is not quick enough to capture Kakazu's masks... maybe if they couldn't fly, a wave of sand could MAYBE capture them... but being airborne, this sand would not move quickly enough unless Gaara took the ultimate risk and used the gourd sand that he uses to protect himself from powerful attacks, but we see here that it would leave a big hole in his best sand defense:

Manga 249, pg. 2

#4 – You might argue his masks take flight. That's no issue, though. Gaara's sand can fly and crush Kakuzu and his masks.

You are not the only person on your team to say Gaara will take flight... so I'll discuss this mistake at a later time.

COUNTERS: Fresco

"Given the wide area that the Katon technique covers, Gaara can and will take flight to avoid the technique.... And since Gaara would undoubtedly go into the air to evade the technique (not physically evade it as you imply), it really makes this part of your post irrelevant."

This is a fatal flaw. Since your team is foolish enough to have Gaara "undoubtedly go into the air"... I need you to know that this is how Gaara died in the first place. Wasting your chakra to create a desert and then fighting in the air away from your location advantage just isn't a smart move on your behalf. Waves of sand coming from the ground up will never reach any of our hearts quickly enough to kill any of them. And once you are in the air, we will no doubt take advantage of atleast a 4-on-1 battle in the air, continuously attacking you with long range wide scale nature elements, forcing you to spend chakra defending yourself from all angles. Fighting so many enemies at one time, using the gourd sand (your only chance at actually killing a heart) could prove to be fatal from combined relentless attacks from our hearts once given an opening:

Manga 249, pg. 3

"Again, somewhat irrelevant given Kakuzu will either be incapacitated at this point or Gaara will be in the air. And since distance can counter speed and the speed of Gian is not all that great (as I pointed out earlier), Gian will have little to no effect on this battle."

I will not continue this long drawn out arguement... but when Gaara's chakra levels start depleting... and you are stuck in the air... the continued large scale lightning attack of Raiton: Gian's magnitude will eventually pierce Gaara's defenses. Kakashi will remind you that Earth is naturally weak against lightining... sand is nothing more than ground up earth embued with CHAKRA... so the defensive capabilities of Gaara's sand is directly coorelated with his chakra levels:

Manga 333, pg. 13

"You see, the "sporadic structure and scope" of Gian is actually why it wouldn't be able to pierce Gaara's defense and/or make a considerable impact. Perhaps if it was more concentrated, it would have an effect to a considerable extent."

Sporadic structure?!? LMAO... its funny how you try to make your comment sound "official", but I will read you the words from Kishi's Databook in regards to this sharp piercing technique:

"A sharp, giant spear of lightning... converged lightning is transformed into a sharp, spearline form that PIERCES..."
- Databook 3, pg. 312

FYI... Converged and Sporadic have two totally different meanings... and I'll take Kishi's word over yours on this issue...

COUNTERS: OnPoint

Note: Honestly, there is no need spending much time debating this post. All 3 of their posts just re-hash eachothers ideas... 1) Gaara will turn the battlefield into sand as far as the eye can see... 2) Kakazu can't move with hardened skin... 3) Gian can't pierce sand 4) etc... nothing new?!? So I'll shed light on a few points here then put the nail in the coffin...

"Gaara won't need to continually send pulses through his sand if he's alerted to the fact that Sabaku Taisō was unsuccessful at the first attempt. If Kakuzu chooses to resurface, he must deactivate Doton: Domu, which, of course, makes him vulnerable to Gaara's assaults."

I'm glad you recognize the true power of these techniques lie in sending pulses through the sand... but this means the extreme levels of pressure aren't continuous, but only performed in pulses. Which means even if Kakazu was caught in a sand attack he would simply harden his skin and have time to escape later while Gaara is distracted by attacks from the other 4 hearts. Thats the problem of fighting 5 VS 1...

"It doesn't seem like he's able to release his threads when in a hardened state either, as his skin seems to seal itself shut, preventing anything from escaping from the inside"

*Sigh* All Kakazu needs to do is keep his mouth open while hardening his skin. I have previously proved he can send threads through his mouth. I'm sick of hearing this same arguement of how he can't move... when he can clearly move by utilizing his threads...

"Ultimately, it is Gaara who will benefit from the landscape. Gaara who can constantly follow Kakuzu's movements; Gaara who can easily swap between both attack and defence. He can control the land whilst patrolling the sky. The sheer scale and versatility of the Godaime's abilities are what will allow him overcome this particular foe."

Your team has discredited your "landscape" advantage by all 3 of you stating Gaara will fight in the air instead of on the sand. I have disproved your theory about Kakazu's inablility to move, his chakra threads (atleast through his mouth) are more than capable to get the job done. I have used the Databook to disprove this theory that our lighting attack is not piercing by nature. I have disproved this theory that tries to paint Gaara as a top notch sensor. You say that we under-estimate Gaara... but in reality it seems to be quite the opposite.

Lastly, Gaara simply doesn't have the reserves to compete using all of these chakra-consuming techniques for a long battle... which I will further elaborate in the closing.

*********************
CLOSING ARGUEMENT:
*********************

Chakra Endurance: "The Nail in the Coffin"

So... the main reason of why Gaara will eventually lose this match is the fact that he simply does not have the ENDURANCE to last a long battle with Kakazu, period. Our opponents have not given a convincing arguement of how Gaara will kill ALL hearts quickly... And since all of Gaara's feats are based on his ability to manipulate sand with his CHAKRA, this will be his demise:

Note: Pay special attention to the "secret weapon" and how it re-enforces many points in my closing arguement...

1) 5 VS 1
Kakazu's Power in numbers: Gaara is fighting potentially 1) five different entities simutameously 2) with the ability to fly 3) each with their own chakra nature and chakra reserves (see "secret weapon" for proof), 4) with long range combat jutsus, and the 4) ability to fight independently of eachother and 5) can use combined nature attacks! That will prove to be too overwhelming for Gaara in a drawn out battle... below Kakashi tells us that Kakazu stole hearts along with the chakra elements residing in their chakra tubes... which means he is able to use so many different nature manipulations b/c he is actually using the original chakra from these fallen foes (see "Secret Weapon" for further proof):

Manga 335, pg. 7

Did I mention that these hearts came from extremely powerful shinobi, his ex-teammates in Akatsuki...?

Databook 3, pg. 59
Manga 322, pg. 4-5

To end any doubts of the quality of hearts Kakazu has collected... Kakashi says himself that you need to master the nature of your chakra perfectly to perform such high caliber jutsu... which is a testament to the quality hearts he obtained from his previous Akatsuki teammates and enemies:

Manga 334, pg. 16

One shinobi would be hard enough, as proved in his match VS Deidara... but 5 entities with the chakra to perform all 5 high level nature attacks...? This will be Gaara's demise, he doesn't have the sheer chakra reserves to outlast this assalt from all of Kakazu's hearts, using 5 different reserves of chakra! (see "Secret Weapon" for further proof)

2) Gaara's Charka-Consuming Jutsus
Gaara never uses taijutsu, and every sand technique he uses drains chakra. For most of his opponents this would not be important, but against an Akasuki member (with 5 entities) this could prove to be a fatal flaw. Our opponents have made it clear they plan to start the battle trying to turn most of the battlefield into a desert, draining chakra. Added with the fact that Kakazu has long range WIDE SCALE nature manipulation attacks, Gaara will need to continuous be inside his most chakra-taxing sand defenses at all times. When encased in his egg-shell like sand ball, he needs to use his chakra to use his 3rd eye technique continuously. Every large-scale sand attack, whether successful or not, will further drain his reserves. Kakazu will do everything in his power to force Gaara to continuously drain his chakra until they are depleted to the degree that his Raiton attacks will eventually pierce his defenses.

3) Gaara is One-Tail-less
Small note here. Once Gaara's natural chakra reserves are depleted, he no longer has access to any other source of back-up chakra, nor does he know medical ninjutsu. It is safe to say...if this turns into a long battle and lowers his chakra levels, with no impressive taijutsu/speed feats, he will surely die.

4) Kakazu VS Hashirama
Do I honestly need to post manga of any of Hashi's chakra feats...? Just the fact that Kakazu fought Hashirama and survived is a sheer testimate to his powerful chakra reserves. And this was before he had the ability to steal hearts...

Secret Weapon: The 5th Heart
Why is this labeled my secret weapon...? B/c my opponents never commented in ANY POST about this heart, which means they overlooked a significant factor in this battle... and no counter can be given at this moment... Although he was never shown using this heart in the manga, it is definately apart of his arsenal. I'd love to make an arguement about how this is a Water Release based heart (from the anime), but I was scared it will no doubt get disputed. So... I searched long and hard, high and low, and finallly found indisputable proof that this 5th heart uses Suiton--Directly from Kishi himself!!!

"...by using these tentacles to steal the hearts of his adversaries and placing that heat and chakra into his own body, Kakuzu became able to control all of the five basic elements and live a nearly immoratl life."
-Databook 3, pg. 263

From Kishimoto, we learn the following about Kakuzu:

1) The biggest part of our opponents strategy is to create a VAST amount of sand by grinding the hardest rocks and minerals from inside the earth... which is a big mistake. CRUDE OIL is found mainly in geologic formations and sedimentary rock directly underneath the earth, and will no doubt be surfaced with this new sand being created... this is the where the hardest rock/minerals are located, and this is where gaara will no doubt obtain this VAST amount of sand. When this new sand is mixed with suiton attacks, it will liquify the Crude Oil deposits mixed in the rock... and we learn from Gaara's fight with the Mizukage, Oil Water is the #1 best counter to decrease the effectiveness of any sand based offensive/defensive strategy!

Manga 556, pg. 2

2) He has the potential to DECREASE the effectiveness of Gaara's sand defenses/offenses by continuously mixing it with a Suiton attack... soaking sand in water makes it heavier, potentially slowing down the movements of the sand itself and causing Gaara to exert more chakra to perform the same techniques!

3) He has the potential to INCREASE the sheer power of his lightning release by adding this suiton for a combined elemental attack on Gaara's sand, increasing its striking power as he can do with any of his masks in the manga. And with the water's potential to seep through the sand, electrifying this water could eventually reach Gaara himself while using the sand to defend himself!

4) Official proof that Kakazu not only has his own chakra, but the actual chakra (not just heart itself) of his victims--increasing his overall chakra reserves to overwhelm his opponents (see bold in the databook quote).

With the variety of options added by this heart... its his ace in the hole! Lastly... seeing that if Kakazu is ever killed in battle for any reason... even if some chance in hell all his "active" hearts are killed... without Gaara having previous knowledge of ALL Kakazu's hearts... he can always hide any heart during the heat of battle to revive himself at any moment, leaving gaara open for sneak attacks that could prove fatal:

Manga 337, pg. 10

Low chakra = Decreased sand manipulation = Death of Gaara. Period.

Chuuuuch.

And idk he said he was going on vacation for a week, or doing something

(¬‿¬)... Where is SP nowadays?
Vacation in the country, so the only times I can get on NB is via my phone when I have wi-fi, since there's no computer here. :b

I'll be home on Monday though, so I'll be able to take part in the next debates. (And finally make a post lmao)
