America.....hrm....i really dont see anything too bad with america....maybe its because I live there or something. I'll say this much though, YES even if it's about my own state (which it is)! Pollution! gosh, so much pollution! over by the big cities like our NY City! we've had a drastic winter over here! I bet you that half the people in NY think we're heading into a second ice age! xD maybe not, but we had snow that went above normal for NY which is insane! pollution is affecting our environment more than people think. man it's freeeezing over here!
Thank your lucky stars that you live in America, and not a place like N. Korea, where you would be "disappeared" for that. And you realize that includes you too, right?
As for the "Obesity", that is determined by BMI, which doesn't take into consideration that muscle weighs more than fat. So some professional athletes and body-builders are considered obese, even with 4% body fat.
And to people who cite schooling statistics to say Americans are dumb:
90% of all American Businesses fail in 2 years. Stretch that to 10 years, and it's closer to 98%.
Would you say Americans are no good at making money?
My Prob/Stat 2 professor opened the class with, "At the end of the term, you will be able to make statistics look whatever way you want."

Yes it is world-wide...but still! I am aiming this at New York City! I don't know whyyyyy.....but I am! Maybe because it's NYC's fault in a way that everyone here in New York has to pay the price by withstanding the cold and most likely a super hot summer when summer comes around...but thats just my weird idea. I'm probably wrong about somethings, and right about others, but I'm not sure of this.

I'm American and I love our country and I realize that it has it's faults as do all other countries but that doesn't make me love it any less we have people we love who may have faults an we love them no less that's how I feel about my country
America has its faults that’s for sure but you can pick any country out there and have a one sided view on them. America catches a lot of hell because our media when our most popular shows have Americans doing stupid things or looking dumb for entertainment value these are the shows that get sent to other countries. How would you judge someone if all you saw from there country is fat ditzy people doing stupid things. A great example of this is Ethiopia first thought starving AIDS ridden homeless man, why because that’s all the media tells us about them i know that Ethiopia has a rich heritage and is one of the oldest civilizations in the world.
As for our military endeavors I will flat out say the USA has been wrong in going to war for the past 50 years. But the main reason for most of those wars was to help not to hurt for some reason people in America seem to think we are obligated to help out the smaller countries not for the fact that we have all this power and we just want to throw out weight around but for the fact that we truly want to stop the suffering of others. Now that is how the population feels I cant speak for our politicians because most of them are greedy corrupted bustards but power just does that to people.
When it comes to education almost every child in the US gets a chance to go to get educated so our kids learn the problem is there’s 300 million people in the US alone not every one is going to turn out a Genius. So there’s a good chance the person you meet might not be the brightest bulb out there. But on another note USA has 3 of the top 5 schools in the world and 11 of the top 15. Every year we turn out some of the smartest people but odds are you wont meet many of them on a Naruto forum
So please don’t judge a book bye its cover.
