actually, until naruto masters gathering natural energy while moving(which he will) all he has to do is keep 2 or 3 clones hidden somewhere, anywhere, probably myobokuzan, and then he just has to carry that scroll around, then when someone uber powerful comes along he rolls it out, and summons one of the clones and bam, sage mode naruto
I don't think so dat will work. Shadow Clone Jutsu is a forbiddent tech. Naruto mangaes to do it only b'coz of his chakra. But always keeping 2-3 clones hidden somewhere will have bad effect on his body, if clones are kept for long time.
i totally agree. i think that naruto is quite capable of continuing on the way he has. There is no reason for him not to use the clones to gather sage chakra. this is a rather ingenious way of doing it. He could even leave 20 clones since he has so much chakra anyway. Naruto would be able to defeat them no, without a doubt. He such a strong will to win that he'd find a way no matter what.
I used to think the kage bushin no jutsu was stupid...but now i disagree. This is the best thing in the world for someone of narutos capablities. ever heard the saying don't fix something thats not broke.
Naruto will destroy them all...without a doubt. Plus he gets better with every fight.
if you know anything about real fighting you'd know experince fighting stronger people makes you a better fighter. trust me...i fight in real life as a bjj blue belt and an amature MMA fighter.

More the clones he keeps hidden lesser will be his chakra to use in battles. We all know Zetsu watches every battle fought by his comrades. So we can assume he is watching even naruto-pain battle. So now he knows abt sage mode. He will tell everything to madara, who may connect scroll with sage energy. So next time when naruto will be against akatsuki he won't have any chance to use scroll.
However u mentioned about using 20 clones. I think u missed one small conversation of fukasaku and shima(pa and ma frogs). Ma asked Pa the same thing why u didn't left more clones to gather sage energy, pa said it won't work. Only two clones work in sage energy. I can't recall the chapter and page. It will be better if someone else does it.
And however more clones he uses, lesser chakra he will have to suppress Kyubi. Kyubi has infinite mass of chakra. So it doesn't matter for him how many clones are created, but it is important for naruto to optimally use his chakra. So more clone tech won't work...

And talking about what my friend ThePain said at very beginning of thread is correct. Naruto needs to learn much more. Sage mode won't last long. It is not his strength. There is not much diffrence between Kyubi's chakra and natural energy, except former is dangerous and latter is not dangerous. Both chakra gives same abilities to naruto, both are ulimited, both gave strength, speed and shields and heeling powers.
We saw J-Man and Pains battle, sage techs were easily matched by pain, and so god pain did same in naruto-pain battle. Naruto needs to learn more jutsus, all the sage techs i.e hermit arts, and some more forbidden jutsus......
