Naruto could have spammed TSB make him use Ameno and then spam more (with naruto sensing he will predict general vicinity where he is) and then that at least one TSB will obliterate Sasuke. Both got a power up when they "died". Sasuke got the tomoe rennigan, and naruto got the sanitary of the six paths. When it actually came time for these two to fight, naruto was actually weaker because he actually fought kaguya by himself for a while and jad lost his tab in the fight against madara and kaguya. Now only having 3 left. Not to mention using up a shit ton of chakra. Sasuke by comparison got stronger even gaining a shit ton of bijuu chakra in the middle of the fight, and just randomly using new rennigan abilities he hasn't trained to do. Also take into account in the actual panels they make note of naruto not even really trying.
