Nah, Kishimoto took Sasuke's Sword for a reason.

If you know the Japanese culture you should expect your fav to kill him self when he lost his sword countless of times to enemy hand.

Anyway, it didn't matter whether they were in full condition or not, if Sasuke had his sword, the battle would have ended very quickly.
