Naruto VS Dragonball Z

this just goes to show you how important the english dub of an anime is. DBZ was brilliant...but it was the english dub that made it so, not the manga. I honestly think that if a greater number of people did not mind watching a japanese sub anime, Naruto would be far ahead in this poll

And most people here talk about popularity and/or personal childhood feelings/nostalgia.

You cant judge them from a neutral/rational point of view if you let your feelings get in the way.

Sure, dbz got famous in america, does that make it a better piece of writing? No.

Think about Van Gogh. Was he famous in his time? No, but now his art is selling @ millions of $$$.

Fame has nothing to do with quality.

After all that, now we can agree that Naruto has a much better plot, story, character development and logical, somewhat, power levels.
Not like DBZ, OMG, ITS OVER 9000!
And then later mangake publishes a databook: SSJ3 has 30 trillion power so he is the best.

DBZ Makes no sense most of the times.
Dont get me wrong, I grew up on it, but compared to naruto it feels like Tom and Jerry storywise, lots of action, 0 plot/story.

I like Naruto more,Naruto will probably never be as popular as Dbz,But it's plot and storytelling absolutely destroy Dbz.Dbz was never that great in storytelling or character development,it hardly even had a plot,it was just basically just about fighting.So yeah,Naruto destroys Dbz interms of plot,story and characterization,But dbz has really good fights,so that's basicially the only thing Dbz is better in.

DBZ will be unmatched, I like the story telling and im there wasn't any crappy love bs. That anime is legendary.

All these people even had kids.
