It's obvious what happened, and Naruto didn't even try against the kid. "Yeah he was going to capture him" -- Tis why Kurama wanted to let loose, and Naruto sent a chakra hand, and then the kid flees like a little girl. Oh well
Main point stands that BOTH base Naruto/Sasuke without Sharingan or Kyuubi/Sage Mode can take Shin to the playground like the little vegetable he is.

no, Ems choku(straight) tomoe is just madara and sasuke seeing as they are the only ones to wield it.
The responses for this thread is just a swirl of bias by Sasuke haters who can't understand the circumstances of the confrontations. Fact of the matter is Naruto=Sasuke and Sasuke just happened to use less power (No sharingan or 3T) while Naruto used more power (BSM or RSM) against the same enemy based on the circumstances of the attack.

Theu both did good but there's clear differences between the two.
-Sasuke was randomly attack by Shin, Shin had the element of surprised,and Sasuke was shocked to see someone wearing clothes with the Uchiha crest on it,and had the Sharingan.
Sasuke informed Naruto about Shin, so Naruto was expecting an enemy. Against Shin, Naruto had the element of surprised, and powered up, yet Shin got away.
Another difference is Sasuke landed hits on Shin,cause him to fall down,and Shin on his own decided to run away.
While Naruto didn't land any hits on Shin,and Shin only left because he was told.

Shin used MS against Naruto while he stood completely still and ran faster then he did against Sasuke who might I add was told to flee against Naruto which from what I remember wasn't told the same for Sasuke. Guess that means Naruto > Sasuke. Cheers.I saw people bashing Sasuke for letting Shin escape Lol
But guess what? Shin escaped from Naruto as well.
Sasuke fought Shin with 3T while Naruto used BSM
Yet Sasuke dealt damage while Naruto couldn't.
This confirms that Sasuke > Naruto.

too many comments to read so i dont know if anyone said this in the first three pages
people are talking about how sasuke managedd to land a hit and naruto didn't,ofcos thats the case the kid attacked sasuke head on(which was pretty stupid,i mean its sasuke) and was a bit smarter when he encountere naruto,he kept his distance and used mid distance jutsu. as for dodging the chakra arm,ofcos he did any decent shinobi can dodge that,its not exactly known for its speed unless i missed something between chaper 700 and now.
this has gone on for too long unnecessarily

Except for the fact that
1) Sasuke was ambushed
2) Sasuke used two moves to drop Shin on his ass
3) Naruto's goal was to capture shin
Bottom line is that no one performed worse than the other, they had different circumstances to deal with, its only Sasuke haters who happen to be Naruto fappers who hold the notion that Sasuke is fodder for using a 3T/no sharingan on fodder shin.

The whole intel thing is blown way out of proportion. The only thing Sasuke could tell Naruto is that there is a blond kind with the sharingan running around. No intel of his skills or abilities. Element of surprise didn't help against Sasuke, so it wouldn't have worked against Naruto. Especially considering he has sensory abilities.
Sasuke landed those hits cuz Shin got into a close combat fight. Against Naruto, he used all long range attacks. Plus Shin used MS against Naruto and the only reason he went Kurama Mode was so he could protect the girls easier.
My problem is the whole "naruto did worse/sasuke did worse" BS. Sasuke had his eyes active and did little to Shin but still owned him. Naruto used Kurama chakra, waved his hand, and Shin ran away. Neither used their full power. No where close.
