Or maybe, just maybe, Naruto didn't want to take chances given the fact he was protecting 2 kids. Lord knows that he's fought enough MS users to know that they can't be taken lightly.

sasuke use three tomoe to fight a three tomoe shin,
while naruto is facing mangekyo sharingan shin, Naruto enter RSM mode to easily protect Sarada and the girl.

minijubi had to come to rescue shin. Unlike sasuke, naruto protected two girls. One of them were sasuke's daughter. Which is sasuke's duty to protect her but naruto did.

Sasuke was alone but still lost to shin even he used chidori and ems against 3T.

BTW did shin use EMS against sasuke? Answer is no.

Shin used fodder body flicker jutsu to escape from sasuke

While shin used kamui (Best Teleportation jutsu) to escape from naruto.

So its obvious who is more powerful.

Shin was trying harder against Naruto than he was with Sasuke.

He activated MS right away and he had the saltiest face. He then had to retreat with the mini juubi telling him that Naruto is the last person he'd want to fight.

So how is Sasuke > Naruto?

EDIT: Not to mention Naruto was more concerned with protecting the girls, why wouldn't he go into RSM?

Sasuke didn't use either EMs or chidori. Sasuke wasn't trying to capture him either. this is fanfic of the highest order

used BSM and DID attempt/launch a attack, missed ( so he didnt just protect sarada&chouchou). LOL

sasuke used lightning jutsu, who was never mentioned as chidori (sasuke could easily perform chidori without handseals), and not susanoo, and the result was shin got stomped. you know, shin fell on the ground. something naruto FAILED to do, despite having tried.

He didn't miss shin.actually already jumped on the wall even before naruto used his chakra arm.go and read it
