Wow. I didn't see that one coming. I knew Kaguya was coming back after she told Madara to absorb the tree, but I didn't see the BZ betrayal coming. 5/5.

Madara deserved the smackdown after he enjoyed telling Obito he engineered Rinn's death. but I was hoping to see a really good fight with Sasuke, Naruto and possibly Obito kicking his ass before he got what was coming to him. It would have been justice if Obito participated too. I guess it's only fitting that the ultimate player has gotten played himself. It was a little too quick though, I enjoy watching Madara dance-he gets so much enjoyment from it. It's fun to watch someone who loves what they do. It won't seem right if he is fighting with Kaguya controlling him. Wow, Kishi really trolled Madara.

For an intelligent man I guess he should have been a little more wary of the talking tree and thought a little more about it before he listened to it. I guess that's what arrogance does to you. I think Black Zetsu will take him over now. I guess Kaguya will control him through BZ or they will extract the bijuu from him.

I was wrong. I thought Kaguya would take over Hinata or another female from the Hyuga clan. I wanted to see what the byakugan is capable of when someone is as powerful as Kaguya is using it.

Sasuke might have been right in what he was saying to Kakashi and Sakura but he didn't need to be such an prick about it. Kakashi was his sensei and deserves respect for that and Sakura saved his life in the forest. Just like Madara his arrogance will be his undoing. He won't become Hokage with that attitude no matter what he does. The other Kages and K11 will never accept him without an attitude change.

As Itachi said "It is not that if you become Hokage everyone will acknowledge you, It is the ones who are acknowledged that can become Hokage."

Interesting turn of events. I still really hope Naruto vs Sasuke will still happen. Maybe Sasuke's attitude will lead things towards it. Poor Kakashi though, being put at Sakura's level.

Lol well well, quite a few twists and turns in this chapter.

Sasuke's remarks this chapter are a paradox. I wanted to punch him with how cold, conceited and arrogant he came off, but at the same time realized for the most part, he was right. They cannot do much without senjutsu or kamui. All the same, I was still hoping Naruto would punch him after he interrupted Kakashi and told him to shut up. Sasuke has no respect for anyone including his teachers unless they interest him or are on par with him. It was Kakashi who trained him to become a chuunin and gave him chidori and it was Sakura who protected him in the forest of death and cared for him when no one other than Naruto did. And if really plans to become Hokage, he should respect everyone and use teamwork, though for all I know he may be planning another method of becoming Hokage lols.

He's becoming hard to read, as he almost always has during climaxes and I believe he cares for everyone, based on his actions when he returned and saving them, but believes his ideals are more important than his feelings, much the same as he did in the rescue sasuke and sai arcs. More parallelism with Indra and Madara there, whose aspects I don't much like and are antagonisitc, but that I can still understand.

Your thoughts on Sasuke are spot on. The look on Sakura's face after he called her useless made me cringe. And he has yet to acknowledge Naruto as his equal. So I'm sure we will get Naruto V Sasuke after Kaguya's defeat.

Really??? Alot of you dont think Madara should have got foddered the way he did? Wait! Are we talking bout the same guy who foddered Obito then tried to have him put down? Honestly he got just what deserved. To be foddered like he did Obito. You reap what you sow!

They both got foddered when they let their guard down.
Obito thought he could safely use Rinne Tensei & betray Madara when he was weak and not too far away.
Madara saw himself as invincible and accepted Kushina arrogantly.

They both made the same mistake and got kicked in the groin.

We all saw Kaguya coming ever since Madara absorbed the tree. So this is no surprise. And seeing as how team 7 and the Edo Hokages were the only ones left to oppose Madara (I don't see how any of them would be able to beat him) I guess it was logical for BZ to betray Madara. Still it was fun to actually see it.

I am curious, though. Now that every human on the planet is under the Tsukuyomi (except Team 7), what will happen when they are released from their dream? I mean, if I was having the dream of my life with everything I ever wanted and then woken up to the same dog-shit reality, I would be pissed. I wonder if Kishi could use this somehow..

Honestly, I'm surprised Madara stayed to his word--I thought the "eternal happy dream" was a con to get Obito's support and manipulation.

Kayuga, on the other hand? I'm SURE she has other plans...

Madara's limbo clones were surrounding them, as Sasuke pointed out.
There should have been no way he would just flop the way he did.

Also, Black Zetsu may not be so far fetched as we're making it. He said his will is Kaguya, not that he's Kaguya's will. Remember Hagoromo stated that Madara was "using the Juubi's power to try and get close to me - And my mother's power."
=- Madara's actual Will was to achieve a god status - To be the savior of the world. Kaguya was revered as a god, so it would make sense that Black Zetsu's will is still Madara's, but that the desire is Kaguya.

Well, Madara used the Gedo Mazo to help create the Zetzus with Hashirama's cells
Kayuga obviously has some link to the Bhijuu.
In turn, the Gedo Mazo is the Bhijuu's body/shell.
BANG!!! Connection from Kayuga to Zetzu. (Even if they are Madara's creation)

Hey Guys I wanted to point out something.. many of you are saying that Black Zetsu is Kaguya's will but From what I read it was the other way around.
Black Zetsu said "My will is ... Kaguya"

Was that a translation error or something??

Other than that the chapter was good.. too many panels were spent on everyone's dreams though. Never expected black Zetsu to betray Madara like that. I guessed that Kaguya would take over but never thought it would be like this... Anyway I Don't think that Madara is going down that easily. He wil pull out something.

And I actually liked what Sasuke said to Sakura. Sure it was a little rude but it was the truth.She was starting that "Sasuke-kun" thing all over again!! She is so annoying sometimes

Sasuke was harsh and insulting towards Kakashi but it was kinda true too:yeah:
And did Naruto just admit Sasuke was better than him ?? xd

I dont think that madara will die so easily, he has hashiramas cells...he already has taken worst hits on him n still survived n now he even has the powers of six paths. Naruto only having half the powers of six path was able to revive guy. Well it could be that, kaguya will come alive n madara will have to join hands with team 7... let's c wat happens nxt???

I completely agree with you..This story was built on Madara and hashi. I dont think he'll go down that easilyy and he shouldnt lol Hes the only reason I watch naruto lol

PS I also believe Madara will somehow escape and go against Kaguyaa

Shit sasuke, i never liked his personality for any reason. He acts bossy and don't give a shit for his team mates (not that he recognizes them as such).

I am getting pissed with how Naruto acts, OMG, he admitted Sasuke was better than him.

Never saw that coming for Madara, thinking he could always use every one and make things go his way. hahhaha, what goes around comes around. Good credence.

Good chapter and it took me by surprise.
We may be seeing more Alien stories now about how this creature got to the planet.
I don't think a lot of people realize that this mean Naruto and Sasuke are descendants of aliens.

The manga associated Kaguya with the power of conceit/arrogance.
My speculation is that she may influence Sasuke in some way since
that is his main weakness arrogance.
No idea how but he is the unstable type that is easily influenced and switched sides so many times.
Next chapters will be interesting.

The dreams were really sad...Mei's dream was kinda cute, Tsunade's dream made me very sad Jiraiya and Nawaki :'(
Gaara's family is too cute, Temari and Kankuro and the others together make a good scene...Baby Naruto looks cute <3
And I really disliked Sasuke's behaviour although he was saying the truth
But I wonder why Bee's dream wasn't shown? Does that mean he is not affected by IT?
I wonder what's going to happen with Madara fans though
