It depends on the context, does Gai thinks he can defeat Madara, or does he know he's just buying time?

If it is the former, then why would he not go with his strongest technique?

If it is the latter, then yes probably would want to go with using the 8 gates as long as possbile?

But this all depends on, if midnight moth kills him.....if it doesn't.....then wtf gai?

Yeah you are right but wasn't there the saying that the 8th Gate allows you to focus all your energy towards 1 single point. So my assumption is that the Midnight Moth disintegrates Gai's body and blasts Madara with something like a Biju Bomb but focused on one single point.

This chapter is just one of hundreds in this decade that proves that Naruto manga is a masterpiece that will always be remembered. I read this and it just brings me back to when I just started reading it with such excitement , Kishimoto is a genius really . Even though it's a cliche and probably a lot of us knew that both Naruto and Sasuke will bring peace together and fight together it still is f*ckin awesome.

Indeed but now within this chapter is confirmed i hope both sides doesn't try to blame the other fan base, meaning naruto fans saying that naruto is stronger than sasuke and vice versa.

That wouldn't make sense, saying not at the same time means that Naruto or Sasuke are equal but the other one isn't.

I think you mean they will eventually be equal just not constantly.

The Sage spoke for someone named "Gamamaru" and his prophecy "a blue-eyed boy that would call the name of the Nine Beasts and play with them". That means the Sage preached his ninshuu (and senjutsu?) not only to the people, and to the frogs (shakes, slugs, turtles, dogs, hawks...). I even think that "Gamamaru" is either the father of the Great Toad Sage, or himself.
