Ok, I just don't get.....

Gai has opened the 8 gates, which is a suicidal move.....why the hell is holding back a technique.
I just don't get the thought process in Gai's head.

"I'll only use Night Moth if evening elephant doesn't work, even though i'm gonna die after opening the 8 gates"

Because Kishi was progressing their fight in the background of this chapter and still wanted us to see the end of it when the Naruto/Sasuke/Sot6P convo ends. Would be silly to switch back to their fight and just see Gai dead

Awesome chapter my prediction of who were the past successors of the Sage's son's was correct Hashirama and Madara. I can't wait to see what new powers both Naruto and Sasuke will reveal next chapter. I wasn't also surprised that both the Sharingan and Byakugan were used by the sage's mother.

so what this chapter confirmed was since the start of the two sons,
Ashura > Indra
Hashirama > Madara
and ofc, let's not forget, however obvious,
Naruto > Sasuke.

Whatever answer he gave was good enough for the sage to entrust power to sasuke. That makes not seeing his answer kind of a moot issue. But people are going to cling to sasuke having alterior motives because not everyone can except that people turn over new leaves. Which sasuke has done, literally.

Also page 13 Hinata is directly under Kushina and Sakura is on the other side,Iruka is next to Minato Everyone Naruto and Hinata is close to are next to them wile Sakura is to the right conner Sasuke is closer to Naruto cop are to Sakura.

I'm just glad we get to see more of Gai in action before he dies. I would have been SO ****ing butthurt if it just went back to a panel of a fallen Gai after Naruto was done meeting with that old man, whoever he was. I didn't care or pay much attention to any of that conversation.
