Your defense of Sasuke will be dismissed as pure fanboyism, due to the fact that your main defense is only based on power/feat which was never argued against in the first place; but I will say let's talk results not potential because that's just a waste of time. Sasuke just lacks intangibles that Itachi possessed & Madara just trolls every Uchiha.
Orochimaru is indeed cold & sinister but as a villain he's past his prime and was shown up by Nagato, Obito, Madara & Itachi (Who was just playing villain). Yes Madara gave Obito a little nudge but what about after Madara's death? He clearly maneuvered almost flawlessly up until this point; despite major setbacks.
Oro is a snake & he fits that archetype very well but he's been owned & disregarded too many times, while being no closer to world domination than any villain that's breathing.

When it come to a debate like this and making points, what else is there other than the Power/Feat base on fact's. Your points is base on your opinion as a hater, "Sasuke is lacking some intangible, that Madara & Itachi have but I don't know what they are"(what the he!! type of answer is that loser, other than I like those characters better and I don't like Sasuke).
Sasuke is the only Uchiha to ever have E.M.S other than Madara and had M.S and E.M.S at a younger age than Madara or any Uchiha(Kishi said this at one of his convention, that Sasuke was the youngest Uchiha to get M.S and E.M.S and that a fact not my opinion). Sasuke might not be better than Itachi when it come to Genjutsu, but if you paid attention to the manga and try to understand what you are reading(if that is possible), you should know by now that when it come to muniplaing ninjutsu, Sasuke is on a whole other level than any ninja in Narutoverse( Sasuke is to ninjutsu, what Itachi is to genjutsu why can't you and other get that).
Examples: Since a kid Sasuke was a master at fire element ninjutsu techniques, to the point that Kakashi and Oroachimaru where shock of what he could do at his age.
Being able to surpass a genius like Kakashi when it come to chidori, by munipulate chidori into full body shield, needles and sword, also using his lighting element to control the lighting and thunder in the sky.
Being able to munipulate Oroachimaru ritual ninjutsu, and reverse it to take over his soul.
Munipulate the curse mark to the level that only Jugo could(Jugo said this, when he seen Sasuke use it after release him).
Being able to munipulate Amaterasa to his will, a feat that Itachi couldn't even do and Sasuke also being able to extinguish it.
Just cause Sasuke is not on the same level in genjutsu as Itachi the greatest Uchiha when it come to genjutsu other than Shushi(even if Sasuke is not on Itachi level, he still a great genjutsu user and breaker), don't mean nothing, when he show that he surpass both of them in ninjutsu and is one of the best Uchiha or ninja ever when it come to Ninjutsu(Madara have not show he on Itachi or Shushi level when it come to Genjutsu, he just show how great he is with Ninjutsu and we know that Sasuke is more compare to Madara than Itachi). Madara & Sasuke with E.M.S are even more unstoppable with using ninjutsu, just like Itach & Shushi would of been even more unstoppable in Genjutsu, but overall all 4 are great Uchiha ninja's( Tobi Obito Uchiha is a average ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu user and just a average Uchiha period).
So stop being a Sasuke hater Tobi Obito Uchiha Balls Boy, because Itachi, Nagato and Shikamaru are my favorite characters, but fact's is fact's and Sasuke isn't or was ever a bum, but right now the second best Uchiha ever at 16 years of age(so eat it you idiotic).
