I really liked this chapter, though it was really sad when Itama died. His look reminded me a lot of Zetzu

Ok at this rate, it seems like the story will be obviously focusing on hashirama, but doesn't it make you guys more curious about madara's life in a more in depth perspective? Wouldn't you want to hear Madara's side of the story along with Hashirama? It would be great if both of them sat down and lecture sasuke. Hashi lecture about senju clan at the time and Madara lecture about the uchiha clan. But that's not possible on Madara's part cuz he's obviously in the battle field now. SOOOO, what I'm thinking is that soon Orochimaru is gonna use the last zetzu to summon IZUNA to hear more indepth story about the uchiha and Madara since we're not really seeing much coming from the uchiha side of the history. IMO.

This is a perfect chance for Kishi to introduce and bring Izuna into the play cuz he hasn't gotten any chance to be on stage yet.

I thought it was an interesting plot, I mean we now see that they were indeed allies when they met, But never knew each other truly due to last name. But in all I think that this is an wonderful fortelling, Clans who were once enemies become allies, but then grow to become enemies again in some form. So what I guess I saw as a forshadowing since the First series was basically another fight to preserve the alliances these ninja have each created for each other. I always wondered how these clans came about, But now I understand it is based on secrets passed down from the families who created them. Allowing others to know these secrets could cause a massive break in the ninja world thus creating wars, Which then create alliances. Hashirama and Madara I guess you could say created the first alliance that broke the tradition of having a family be as one, but instead many families as one. Somewhere along the line Madara felt as if he and Hashirama were not treated as equal and this causes him to turn his back on the very alliance he helped create.
Now my prediction is that Naruto resembles Madara (Bare with me.) in the sense that he is the Nine tail fox which Madara is able to control. Since now Madara is Edo Tensei, he is more than like able to control the nine tails by using Sharingan on Naruto. If this were to happen then Hashirama would resemble Sasuke, Someone who was better than Madara, but lacked the same values, Though Hashirama becomes hokage, Madara is able to control a power he believes will destroy hashirama and the entire village. My point is, If madara controls naruto and possesses the nine tails, When sasuke comes to the battlefield he will notice that Naruto(Controlled by Madara) is the destroying the very village and the alliance with the his village that he sought to protect and keep from harm. Sasuke would change then and only then because he know that Naruto would never turn against his comrades, Even though Sasuke is still his comrade and closeset friend, he know that Naruto would never intentionally kill him. Sasuke will jump to the battlefield and the final battle will begin. Sasuke has to save Naruto, and if he has brought Edo Hokage along with him, Since Orochimaru now bends to sasukes decisions, will work with sasuke and ultimately will spark another fight between all the old fight lineups, Aside from the fact that everyone has come with a better tactics, and Naruto will be on the side of evil, which returns all the good ninja plus sasuke to the "good" side. Thus spawning a chain where Naruto succeeds in bringing the village together.

Sasuke vs. Oro + Edo Hokage
Do you think Sasuke could survive a fight like that? He probably wont face Hashi because it looks like he's already free of the Edo control. He could strip them of their free will and control them i suppose.

Looking for "peace" , Madara and Hashirama met at that river , they created the concept of konoha here , it was their answer , unify clans in "villages".Clans is one side , village the other side , they're on the same side.
After creating Konoha , they understood that their answer was good but incomplete , seing that the war between clans is soon replaced by the war between villages ( the love of your clan is replaced by the love of your village , your comrades ).Your friends are still being killed by other shinobis.
How to get world unity?
Madara have an answer , Hashirama haven't but he knows he doesn't like Madara's.
There they became rivals to find the answer.And Madara left Konoha.
Madara came back to get Hashirama DNA , and lost .
When wars grow bigger , shinobis grow stronger , to a point that the globe was at stake during their fight.
Hashirama had still no answers , he couldn't kill Madara , he followed Madara's idea , resurect the Juubi to make the world unify against that weapon.
I never saw a pound of hatred in Madara's face.
If Itachi understood Madara's plan , he would have done exactly what he has done ( stop the coup d'état in Konoha , go help Madara's plan , give his strenght to somebody who will fight the beast ) .

Eerie the way Kishi drew Madara to look like Sasuke's twin. I could see the woman getting in the middle thing happening. Or....I could see Izuna and Tobirama battling, and Madara arriving to assist Izuna, and Hashi arriving to assist Tobirama, and then they look in each others eye and have a 'Fox and the Hound' moment as they realize that they are friends and mortal enemies at the same time. Like Hashi saying "What are you doing here?" and then panning down to show him looking at the Uchiha crest on Madara
